Roundtable Discussion; The Future of Mineral Sands. Watch the video here.
oilheadgame, that was my take from the last interview. He made it clear production was possible and we'd go that route if Eco didn't receive his price for a take-out.
Also, we have a smaller population and GDP than California. When we dip below a pound it'll be your turn.
Many here aren't familiar enough with the Venture. I've tried many times to have you chaps ignore it but for some it just doesn't work. I've seen this stock taken down big time on just 8 shares, to which I've chocked up to mms settling accounts. Today is different of course, there is a recession coming and our economy mainly depends on oil, raw materials and the banks. I'm afraid your turn is coming also, October 31, good luck with that one mates.

I hope Gil Holzman and company stay focused on their MO and don't get caught up in the recent heady atmosphere of success. No debt is why I stayed so long with Eco and any talk of debt and I'm gone.
Lets get out of Guyana clean and wealthy and get on with Namibia. 5 GBP is my price.
By the same token, if the Lower Cretaceous has been proven why drill the Upper Cretaceous next, ie, Joe. Too late to re-schedule?
Congrats to all Eco holders this morning!
'hereandthere/now' and 'itsyou', a big thanks for sharing your time and knowledge on 'stockhouse'. A nod to 'olderandwiser' who like myself was more than likely in too deep but had the moxy to stay long and help me hold the course. The Cotswold here I come!!!
Fwiw … the buyer and seller were 72 Credit Suisse. Previous to that transaction the same buyer bought 14,500 shares from another source .
Does being conservative then, extend to pulling up stakes at Jethro-1 earlier than others would under the same circumstances.
My optimism meter is on the rise the longer this takes.
Will there be an announcement tomorrow at the TSX close or are we to wait until Monday/ 40-1, before markets open in London.
Could all this additional activity along with the increased acreage be directly related to the 250 million barrels Eco say we have on Jethro versus the 100 million barrels Tullow say we have. After all we were to drill and move on, could GH's estimate be correct and Tullow was caught short in the necessary tool department. With Tullow the operator I don't think an initial failure on Jethro would see GH getting his way to continue drilling to prove his estimate by drilling elsewhere on the site. The Stena Forth hasn't moved, Tullow has a full plate and would have moved off already if this was a dry well.
They were at par earlier in the day, wait for the close. The penny flippers are doing well of late, buy at $1.05 and sell for a 10-15% profit then rinse and repeat as they say.
Aurituk would be part of the unitization of Hammerhead.
Having Hammerhead to fallback on is great, but how long will it be before it is monetized and how much of it will be ours.
Any update on Guyana's decision regarding QP's attempt to take 40% of Total's share of Orinduik? Should QP lose the decision might they not then consider taking out Eco?
freshair, I believe someone posted the Guyanese government wouldn't want us to drill Hammerhead, the reason being it would be one more drill expense to be deducted from their income. This is where/when the unitization conversation started.' It might have been ' itsyou' so perhaps he might confirm.
olderandwiser, apologizes for bringing up the gas question, it wasn't meant to turn into a discussion. I was looking for some idea as to whether we'd be bought out for gas alone.
Another 40k on the smaller venues if anyone is really counting.
Only my friends call me that! Seriously, I've had a feeling this was going to be a gas play from day one, just a hunch of course. What would a large gas find be worth in this part of the world, anyone? Something to kick around while we wait.
Gas! One of my first posts here was my concern over gas and it was ignored - gathered it was impolite.
The plan going into the Jethro drill was to find oil and sell the company. We're now extending the drilling period, and will perhaps continue the surveying. Hope we aren't kidding ourselves?
Are you 100% sure the extension until November is a 100% positive. The TSX is down on decent volume, there may be some that interpret the extension as desperation.
For those that follow the antics on the Venture ... share bids out number the asks 5:1. Its a level 2 snapshot and lord knows could change shortly, but its refreshing if not slightly encouraging.
