Obviously there will be employees with share in Flybe at various entry levels... I wonder what they think of it.
We need a vote of no confidence in this board, surely find replacement that will take on the mantle and do what needs to be done along with a new payment acquirer.
FTCaller, I'm going to simply put it out there... a lot of people at this point, don't give a damn about the 1p. In other words, let it burn...burn baby burn! I doubt very very very much those jobs will be saved. This board, as I've previously stated, are incompetent... many avenues could have been taken but why not? A lot of questions, and the answers have been withheld/misleading.
What should be of concern, considering the outcome thus far, those buyers being on the side of the consortium. It's a steal.
@jony5 What? Sell up for a few pennies? Day traders aye but and those who are accepting the loss. Wonder if Standard sold up? No way is this being accepted by the shareholders.
None Pianista, and I sure hope there is.
Well, of course someone is buying - could be in cahoots with this new merger - as no matter what they pay right now, it's a steal. Surely all us PIs could come up with £20m.
find out where these directors live? :D
because avocet123, tell which of the shareholders are going to accept 1p? There is some idiots on here stating 3p is better than 1p - sorry... i'd rather burn it. So, let's burn it and watch those directors lose whatever they've been promised.
I do not believe IAG are interested but, I hope some kind of private group, perhaps looking for a good venture are. However, we need rid of this board.
Just a RNS from a current holder to see if they have jumped or what... that would be interesting.
Yes, valuewalk, we, the shareholders, should be nasty - 1p is nothing, nor is the current sp. Reject the bid, rid us of that board and hope for the best.
The board needs removed, that's the move... or let it go bust.
@threeputt are you holding, or sold? Or just a day trader? Who cares about 3p or 6p? I don't. It's pitiful! I see the real winners, if this is approved by shareholders - thats Virgin/Stobart and the Board. Employees? Hah, they'll have to endure restructuring. If they have anyone to blame, it's the board.
It's not our position to care about the jobs... it's the boards recklessness and now, using us as a mean to secure themselves. We need some refreshment in that board room!
Headancer, huh? Those financials were as stated or lies, as if there is some serious issues not yet disclosed then the markets were misled. On top of that, the acquirer has withheld funds from FlyBe... I'm sure those big investors will be asking questions soon.
Crumble, others are in here over the long term... massive investments however, 1p... stick that up your backside... I'd rather lose the lot and let it go. Yes, I care about the employees etc but the real winners here are Virgin/Stobart and the Executives - I bet people will still lose their jobs while hiring more at lower salaries/rates.
A.smithy Good, that will be that. Let it go bust. I'm not letting Branson win, like he did with Northern Rock in the end.
It seems a few people on here have lost, a lot, could be life changing - take it out on those executives.
I bet there is something fishy going on with the acquirers... because, if it was not for that, would this be happening right now? No.
