RE: Case for the FCA15 Jan 2019 18:17
What you have to ask, with the dire situation the company has found itself (due to the acquirers?) was this divulged to Stobart Aviation, Virgin Travel Group and DLP Holdings/Cyrus Capital? On or around 14th December to 18th December when Connect Airways Limited was formed.
When did this consortium come to the conclusion of offering 1p per share? I doubt it was around 14/18th December.
If the board during the General Meeting or after, announced the cash flow problem with acquirers, I'm sure the share price/markets would have reacted but at least, many of us could have made informed decisions with our money at that time. Instead... few weeks later...
Sky allude that an offer has been made on the 10th Jan. The following day, an announcement of £2.2m or 1 pence per share was declared sending the share price down from 16p to 3/4p. Significant drop! Of course, pending shareholder approval.
A few short days, no such approvals... the rug has been pulled from under the shareholders.
Truth is, If the board had made made us shareholders aware on or after the 14th December, I'd have sold and accepted whatever the losses were - and I'm sure no where near as they were today!
