With those buys, someone has built up positions... millions have traded hands, and as I said before, it's not all PI's... no way is it.

I strongly believe that FlyBe needs restructuring, and can go it alone. It can save millions on fuel costs a lone as oil has tumbled quite significantly. £/$ is also going to be help the company. Besides, realisitly, the bids, I expect, would be around 47p.

@graybird Yes, but I can assure you, it will not be easy for Stobart/Virgin or IAG just to take them... and with Virgin in discussions with Flybe right now, that is costing Virgin money, a lot of money. Of course, 'interested parties' it's clear there are others too.

It's not all bad as people on here have stated, and Flybe will be making savings on low oil prices, at least 1/4.

As I said yesterday, someone(s) must be buying up... it's not all PIs. With that said, with this low oil prices, Flybe will be saving a few more million on costs.

Exactly and, just to note... these talks cost money, and virgin’s likely six figures already or seven.

Of course they would love to get their hands on some sweet slots but, that’s not going to happen with Virgin and possibly IAG battling it out.

It’s from sources... and, like last week, the board announced no official talks had begun due to media speculation but this time, silence... which adds to the atmosphere that something must be brewing. But, who knows.

With oil on the low, at least for a while... FlyBe should save on fuel costs.

I wouldn't be surprised if that 5 mill isn't the only trade they've made.
