I’ll be honest I retired 15 years ago. ( early )

But maybe it’s because I didn’t like the modern retail environment.

Taken away the skill of buying and selling at a regional level and making it more national which doesn’t always fit the geographical environment.

So maybe I’m old school and stuck in my ways.

I listened to Martin message today and think he’s right you can give to many matches to folk starting their own rhetoric and they just get carried away and someone has to put the fire out.

Time will tell about the new direction they have taken but I’m not the one to ask.

Trust needs to be earned and that takes time but can be lost in an instant.

I was in retail all my life up to regional director level.

We had 3 types of stock.

A : stock high margin fast moving but in limited supply you can’t raffle this one hold out for the right price.

B : stock average margin slower moving this needs constant monitoring as it will be the bulk of your stock. Also meaning the the bulk of your money. You have to much of this and you can’t buy A stock when it’s available.

C : stock you don’t want any of this but to get the A you might have to buy C. Raffle the stuff it’s eating up your cash. Don’t let it age because you’ll get more so get rid and focus on getting as much A as possible. Easier said than done of course.

Stock management is the absolute king of retailing.

I think 6m may be optimistic 5.5m is my gut feeling. But it’s just guesswork so let’s see.

However I like your number better.

I’ve also said this before let’s hope they aren’t busy fools. Revenues mean very little without a margin that can absorb the overheads.

1m revenue with a 90% margin is far better than 10m with 5%.

It’s a hard expensive business to get right.

I don’t like second guessing numbers especially not for the full year as we never really know what’s going on inside a company like huddled.

Q2 if I had to guess I would think it’s more likely to be around your number of 5.2m give or take.

You have be careful that we stay realistic until the company exceeds our expectations not posters giving forecasts based on numbers that haven’t happened yet.

Post what you want but expect a reaction if I disagree or you get it wrong. If I get it wrong I’ll eat humble pie. It’s called being an adult and taking responsibility for what you post.

Unnecessary if they had been in profit. Trying to turn every negative into a positive stereotype ramper.

By the way you said Q2 would be between 6.2 and 6.6 let’s see.

I followed an almost identical journey. If you bought at the IPO you would have lost a fortune.

If you hold an AIM share without trading it 9 times out of 10 you lose money or end up where you started from after years of frustration.

I like you traded the arse out of immo to make a decent profit in the end.

If you spend it you’ve spent it. Unless Martin has a magic hat it’s still cash burn.

You can’t just pick the bits you like from the brokers note and discount the rest because it doesn’t fit your rhetoric.

Yes I am from the immo days and used the profit made from the sale to buy in here. I bought most during the pandemic so was happy with the sale price but not how it was done. ( another story form a different time ).

However it doesn’t mean I want to lose all that profit here. Maybe I’m just tired of waiting

I get the fact that he has to be a good salesman to sell the company to new shareholders, but he’s to underhand for my liking and to back that up I have sold 25% of my holding here. 850k over the last week.

I also don’t expect Q2 to anything to shout about or Q3 with the transition taking place.

They have burned 7m in cash in less than 2 years and can’t get to cash flow neutral never mind positive.

I still have a large holding but won’t hesitate to sell if I don’t like what I see going forward.

Again these are just my opinions and should be taken with a pinch of salt.

It’s all to grizzly and unpalatable for me.

We don’t need to raise. Yes they do even the broker note states they will eat into the new money to the tune of 500k by year end.

Martin talks out his backside half the time.

As for the new deal let’s see what happens because one thing for sure the board will be ok but not sure about us shareholders.

My prediction a raise in January or before with another story time read.

Interesting reading the board lately lots of Jam tomorrow type posting. Wait for the brokers note. No it’s conservative in its numbers.

Wait for the real numbers they don’t fail to bring you back down to earth with some reason why they didn’t quite get there.

Q2 numbers need to be good and cash generating otherwise they will run out of money imo. Please don’t respond to this post it’s just my opinion.
