The market does not seem to believe this company any more. That is very sad
Based on the summary below the deal seems ok
(Alliance News) - Alphawave IP Group PLC has bought Banias Labs for USD240 million, strengthening its potential USD300 million roadmap.
the USD240 million acquisition will be funded from existing cash and additional financing. This includes a USD210 million of senior secured credit facilities, comprising a five-year USD110 million revolving credit facility and a five-year USD100 million term loan.
Alongside the acquisition, Alphawave said it has negotiated a non-binding, multi-year purchasing framework with a "North American hyperscaler". The company added that sales from the agreement could amount to over USD300 million.
Looking ahead, Alphawave expects to ramp-up its new optical products in 2024 and profitability to improve from 2023 levels, as products go into high-volume production and generate additional revenue.
It added that trading in the third quarter of 2022 has been "strong". It expects to publish a trading update for the quarter on October 17.
The overall market sentiment seems to make everyone more nervous than expected
There is no reason for today’s big fall. Odd!
This must be a good thing for cineworld given cineworld’s current situation
Cwr is continuing to fall while itm and afc are coming back
Surprised that the incoming from licence fees is down by almost 70%. Very disappointing
The market isn’t impressed. Why?
The sp should rise towards the forthcoming trade update.
This is my wish and also my forecast
Just seen a few sells at 55p. How is this possible?
The next normal trading update will be in mid October. That will be a long wait if no other rns
There seems no bad news about awe but the sp is falling in a big way. Strange
AWE has always been troubled by wisewave and related bookings, besides bookings are always not as tangible as actual revenue received
Any idea for today’s drop?
It looks clear that shell only provides a demo site but no money in the deal. The market has realised the rns is not as significant as we hoped
The rns failed to say how much Shell is investing unfortunately
Cwr has been very strong today. A bit odd?
The statement failed to address the obvious concerns of most investors
