Why is it highly likely? Lol. It's been highly likely since a "matter of weeks" after the JV announcement. I'll keep my fingers crossed but I think there's every chance it will drag on now for another few months.

A personal opinion about a forthcoming placing and actually posting multiple alleged emails from Roland are very different things. Many people obviously do believe Roland sent at least one of those emails... Personally, I highly doubt it but if approval lands this week, it will be highly suspicious. Not a good look for SYN at all. Especially, if the majority jump out and take their profit on release of the RNS.

Yes, it was quite a frenzy at the time, followed by massive drop and people trapped for quite a while longer than anticipated. Happened to me, I think it was 2018...and I'm still here although I don't get spiked any more lol

Why would Roland share that kind of information? If he did indeed share it, then it feels like a placing might be on the cards IMO.

The significant dilution has put pay to massive rises like that unfortunately.

This has been dragging so long, when news does land, I suspect many will look for the door... Just like last time on JV news. Roland really needs to sort out the company image it he wants to be able to raise more funds.

It really irks me that Roland would give this sort of information to select investors. Why doesn't he tweet that information? I still really doubt it's genuine. If it is genuine, then it's very unprofessional and not the sort of thing institutional investors would appreciate...at a time when syn are trying to attract them.

Problem is GOI can do what they like.

I also wonder if they are negotiating changes to the work programme...like last time. Still don't understand the point of opening up the old zones, caused a lot of grief for SYN with the water ingress.

Working with the Indian government has always been challenging for OEX/Syn. I thought maybe things had changed, especially since the JV with Selan and there may have been a increase on goodwill, leading to a more timely approval. Obviously not. I wonder how much involvement GOI will have going forward?

Gordon, I hope it doesn't take as long as last time but I wouldn't bet on it.
