Not impossible, on the back of good news on new large contract it can jump big time ...I topped up at £1.95 when fine was confirmed although I was on profit 90% my average was £1! I m not looking a few penny ups and down rather looking pre covid/pre SFO level which should be at least £3.50. There will be lots of oil and GAS activity due to last 2 years was too slow and less investment, Middle east waking up as oil going towards $100!DYOR

Great news, Pfc is doing what it should be to become a market leader and make deal like this …. Let shorters get out of it ! More to come and we should see a re- rate to £3.50+

Have been watching this for last few weeks, I think it still has plenty of upside given Gas price is keep rising and Serica is supplying 5% of UK Gas demand, with 61m 2p reserve(based on Dec reports), no debts, co is making profit and it will rise substantially from Q, it can easily be taken over...could not resist but buying some ! if it goes down will keep topping up...my target price £5+

US markets seems picked up later part of the day , so hopefully tomorrow we will see Pfc up, that would be a good test that market has confidence on Pfc based on recent sfo outcome

It doesn’t say that but if you read it c are fully the judge don’t want to put the company out of business! That implied SFO had enough time to demand the co and it’s over 4 years , time to conclude so business can move on! As the chairman said Pfc is now new business , all old executive left , it’s a new team and they learnt the lesson! To me it’s over , I’m happy to hold and take the risk ,as opportunity won’t come too often, Pfc is moving towards right direction and I expect sp to reach £3.5+ soon ! I can see negative post started as they share price down, today’s drop is in line with overall market down trend, also some profit taking as Pfc went up nearly 80% … sfo case is over the business can move on ! See below the Judge comments;

Judge Taylor on Monday said that despite the serious nature of the case, she would impose a fine that wouldn’t financially cripple the company.

“I do not consider that it is necessary for the company to be put out of business and therefore, a fine must be imposed which, whilst being painful for the company, is one which it can pay,” the judge said.

Reeb, time will tell, If you don't have the patience to wait no need to worry about it where it will go, feel free to sell or hold till it reaches to £4. As I said before HBR is not for day trader, short term investors, this is much better than old PMO a FTSE 250 oil and gas co backed by experienced management, a low cost producer with potential 180-200 bopd+...what not to like but only for long term investors who are willing to hold for at least next 6-12 months .

Give it a sometime, will get there …. HBR is a cash cow, can’t go wrong in this high oil and gas price environment ;has both oil and gas asset a low cost producer. I expect it to reach old price 80p which is £16 !

I think market is not fully factoring the positive impact PFC will have, once it is fully realised and PFC share a few update on contract it must be re-rated. I guess now is the time to hold and not get shaken or sell for small gain. Big return yet to come considering;
Oil price is $75+
PFC can bid for high profile contract(I am looking UAE contract currently PFC Malaysian partner is in the bidding process, hope PFC can join) prior to SFO investigation SP was £4.50+, we should see SP to be that level at some point soon as oil and GAs activity picking up and PFC in great position to capitalise

The penalty was significantly lower than feared and does not bar the company from bidding for public contracts.

It makes no sense comparing this tiny Enq with Tullow …. I’m invested in both but Tullow is in different league and it’s potential cash generation is much higher , most importantly Tullow proven reserves and potential reserve is way too high to compare with ENq! Share price not only just depends on how much cash flow it’s generating now rather how long it can continue and whether it has enough reserve in the ground to maintain the cash generation as well as how low operating cost and capex.
And that is why there a price difference , Tullow at 50p - 60p range and Enq stuck within 20-25 range.

Pfc is one of the world leading oil and gas services provider, I don’t think the Judge will want to destroy this British co by putting excessive fine, surely company will gain some sympathy due to current pandemic as well loss of business due to sfo investigation for last few years. The sfo matter conclusion will pave the way to gain market share and contract of potential $48b, huge potential! Considering oil price is now above $75 , lot of activity and expansion within the oil and gas sector, Pfc will be in great position to capitalise it! Below statement in the latest update summarise potential growth ;

“The Group currently has US$3.0 billion (3) of secured revenue for the full year 2021, comprising US$2.0 billion in E&C and US$1.1 billion in EPS. In addition, the Group has a pipeline of around US$48 billion scheduled for award in the next 18 months. “

I meant clear it from sfo mess bu paying a small penalty and make sure going forward it does clean business…

Looks like market taking it positively, hope keeps going up and next week it come out as a clean co so if can move on and focus on its business

I think since they already reached an agreement, fine won't be too bad than what the market is expecting and priced in. I have taken the risk and bought more...if no nasty surprise I see this is going £3+

S&P Global Ratings affirmed Rolls-Royce's (RR.L) BB-/B long- and short-term issuer credit ratings and removed them from CreditWatch negative. The outlook on the ratings is stable.
