Darwin project Npv4 May 2022 23:17
Extract from RNs, can any one put some number against it rather than making random predictions for f share price ? Been holding for long, now it looks promising. Based on 460mb, assuming npv £10 per barrel, project value £4.6b; say after farm out bor share remain 10% carry, we are looking BOr value £460m current Macap £45m, so min range we are looking 10X current so! Is it fair to say it should be re-rated to 50-60p range , if we apply 50% discount still sp should be 25-30p at minimum; just wonder what was the Mcap when sp was £1.23 in 2012?
I welcome constructive comments rather than ramping or from any day trader, from genuine long term investors who suffered loss and now recovering.
The project fundamentals are strong. Economic projections are attractive, the break-even oil price is low (less than $35 per barrel), sub-surface risks are low, and the environmental footprint low. As the industry enters the energy transition to a lower carbon future, we believe that Darwin (with its estimated 460 million barrels of condensate and LPGs) is a worthy development, comparing favourably to many global alternatives.
