That would be quickest way to diversify portfolio outside UK as I posted yesterday, HBr looking international expansion; Tullow is a low cost producer currently doing 60kbd, has proven reserve of 240m with more potential in the pipeline. I am invested into Tullow too and will be very pleased if any such merger takes place , in my view definitely add shareholder value and help HBR achieve its goal to diversify assets ; to me NS is a dead investment given recent epl and government or opposition unwillingness to cooperate and work with the oil and gas industry and player like HBr

I like below statements firm Linda, clearly she is looking to diversify and expand outside UK which seem sensible approach as UK government seem not bothered, despite HBr supplies 15% of Uk oil and gas , assuming North Sea a dead investment given 75% tax , what would be HBR value ; it already has a exposure in Indonesia, Zoma Mexico with this year $2.1b free cash flows , do we think current EV of circa £3b seem the bottom?

Today Rns clearly demonstrated it’s a in a great shape , well run profitable business; it’s Ffc of $2.1b and EV of around £3b looks to me at the lower end, I see see it’s easily going £5+ soon if oil price stays in the $80 range .

Uk govt must review its windfall tax policy else risk losing investment into North Sea which could potentially provide security of UK energy needs from its own source. Given what we have seen last year , We could see another spike in the oil and gas price as China rebound , Russia restrictions on oil supply to EU; HBR in a great position to capitalise this , even if they pay 35% levy it c an offset some against tax loss b/f from Pmo legacy ; if I take conservative approach post tax it could generate £1b profit a year ; with current market cap I see SP could easily go £5+ subject to oil price stay $80+ if >$100 hbr will be £7+

I am just wondering what has changed fundamentally that SP is below £1 since it hit £1.90 when Pfc was cleared of SFO case ;I think sp will move higher once there is any big contract win especially any news from Abu Dhabi or Middle East ! While Pfc is expanding renewable business, I see opportunity to buy at this low price.

I think Tullow so has bottomed, I have re- invested today , will buy more if it stays around 40-45 range ; my rational being China open up, oil price is steady and going up on China rebound ; compared to other oil Co listed in UK Tullow will benefit more on oil price rise as it doesn’t have to pay 30% levy as imposed on Hbr, Enq whose production are hard in North sea within UKCs

It need to go another 3.5p for me to breakeven , happy to see it is waking up ! When I bought at that time my initial target price was 20p so quite a lot to catch

Jpm gave RR target price 60p now rR trading at £1.07, I will do opposite of what Jpm say DYoR

Let’s see next 3 month ;time will tell, if us funds starts investing into airlines in the Europe , then Ezj, Iag, raynaur, whizz, all will be jumping big time ; good possibility asset manager and pension funds are dumpling risky asset like Bitcoin, Tesla, US stocks and they see value in the European especially LSe listed co to balance out their portfolio given inflation cooling ! We are talking billions of cash coming to Europe from other side of the ponds

It’s all about market sentiment, given recent Aal result and boom in the holiday bookings , no sign of covid , it looks sentiment improving towards airlines industry! I see boom time coming , won’t be surprised if ezj goes £9+ In next 3 months especially after next business update if it demonstrates generating cash and profit

I can’t tell about others but my cost is £1, Stock market is a medium of transferring wealth from impatient to patient! Some one will win and some will lose ; hence we all need to do our own research , invest accordingly based on risk profile and appetite; only invest what you can afford to lose ! No need to be crying a baby

Thanks oil for reminding £7, iag should at-least go half of this soon so my target price is £ 3.50 ! My average is £1, so very much looking forward to it , already enjoying 57% paper gain , I’m sure many more like long term investors like me here who topped up to get to this stage , patience is rewarded; only those crying who didn’t top up or have diversified portfolio; always DYoR

Ignore Oil,he is either shorted or paid hedge funds agent to entrain us with negative comments ! Iag up 57% in last few weeks , inflation down, people will be traveling more, that means more business for Iag …… it will keep going north to reach pre pandemic level while oil keep moaning with all negativity! Anyone can remind iag sp in 2019 before pandemic ?

Good to see shorters are burning , those long suffering investors should be happy that iag going towards right direction , Sp gone up over 50% in a month , it will become a cash generating profitable business as flying hours get back to normal pre pandemic level , I’m holding for bigger gain
