Dear Srini Varadhan:
Thank you for your complaint to the Ontario Securities Commission (OSC) concerning K2 & Associates Investment management Inc. (K2). I apologise for the delay in responding.
The market manipulation allegations against K2 regarding short positions of Cineworld PLC, trading on the London Stock Exchange, have been forwarded to OSC Enforcement for review. Any issues that staff may identify will be addressed with the company directly. However, if any information can be made public in the future it will be posted on the OSC website (OSC Proceedings).
I appreciate the time you have taken to contact us.
Sincerely,

We are due an update from CINE board this week reg. Appeal, so hopefully Mooky and co works out something.
Barbara Conway Conned CINE, that’s all I can think of by her ludicrous judgement. She must have smoked some kind of weed whilst handing out that judgement. I am still baffled though!
Interesting, just read about AMC gave away free non fungible tokens for AMC shareholders a month back. So AMC has also ventured onto NFTs and Cryptos. Will be happy as long as CINE is raising . More than happy if somehow CINE becomes a meme stock and burn Shorters.
Gamestop shares seems to surge on the news of them potentially entering NFT and Crypto markets. That’s what I read just now, can you please enlighten how this has any relevance to CINE ? Am I missing something here? Thanks
Thanks
Are CINE expected to get waiver for June 2022 and Dec 2022 debt covenants test? Are there any precedence in the industry where covenants test for other majors on entertainment sector where it’s waived?
Thanks Sammy
Someone on our forum said in total there were 16% of shorts on Cine, few weeks back. Can someone enlighten on this please?
Yeah hold on to the gains
Hoping for CINE to hold onto the gains! Slowly and steadily we will reach 50P by end of this month.
Strong Buy if you can wait for at least a year or two. Cine will recover, don’t go with few of the derampers who are constantly gloating that Cine would fail. Still lot of life left in cinemas , personally I am buoyed by the success of recent spider man flick, with omicron rampaging - at least that’s what media calls, Box office numbers from that Spider-Man flick suggest people do love the experience of theatres. I am been with Cine for last 8 months, I am happy to be a LTH and I am sure Cine will rise!
Well said. Barking dog doesn’t bite
Shorters can keep shorting, I just hope sooner all retail investors join together and burn the Shorters like how it happened for AMC.
Happy new year 2022 all!
Wuhan Virus
Well said Hussartbr. Cinemas are a proven model and will be here forever!
Thanks HNS 77
Merry Xmas to all of you
