@Tegop , is there a chance that existing shareholders can get 5% of new company equity , I mean are there any precedence from ch 11 cases from the past that existing shareholders were rewarded a decent chunk on new company equity?

I am with 42p avg with almost 120K shares, it’s not worth me selling for few thousands, I have almost resigned to the fact that I may not get anything from this share, battered and bruised for now but somehow clinging on to the hope that there would be some kind of miracle which would allow me to recoup at-least 30 % of my original investment. So I am staying till the end, not selling … I’ve kept to ping up at high 80’s as Mooky had 20% stake and I am sure he would fight as much as he can to recover something for him even if he doesn’t think about other shareholders. It’s been a nervous few days , constantly checking LSE for an RNS about restricting plan, now wondering what has happened as everyone said it would be made available yesterday , it’s like waiting for your exam result….
Thanks Penta for your views . I am also in the same boat, nervously awaiting for an update, hoping that they don’t shaft us.
Hey Penta, What’s your take on shareholders getting some portion of the new company post restructuring?
When can we hear about the plan?
What will happen to unsecured lenders in queue?
Concur with your views @mountainuous. I am hoping for a miracle to recover at least 20 to 30% of original investment. It all started with Fudge Barbara and her novel decision to avoid synergies on that scale to plex. I hope if we go down , plex also follows suit as they are one such greedy buggers . If realising synergies post M&A transactions are that common why are we in this situation? Not sure whether Fudge Barbara thought in all these angles, when there are so many unknowns and variables - example being Covid , how on earth she awarded damages on that scale is still I can’t digest. Most costliest mistake I have made in my life.
&BlueBuxton … well said , that’s the same thing that made me to buy more in CINE than I would liked to have. You can call me as greedy but yeah now learning a harsh lesson. Made poor choices…
Thanks , Will check
@BlueBaxton .. hope all good with you , good to see your posts after a while . What’s your take on recent RNS? Do we have any chance to see some sort of recovery? Thanks
@mountainuous, I was under the impression that US, UK are part of C11. It’s only ROW that’s outside of C11, is it not the case then?
Good to hear from you Mountainuous. Waiting for some sort of miracle with CINE
Thanks Elvis
Thanks Elvis. It’s clear from that AMC has spoken to adhoc group without involving the debtors
Well Said Hexam.
Yep same case
@hexam - thanks
Hexam - I simply don’t get this whole lot is up for sale not through the purchase of shares . What are they trying to say here ? Can you enlighten me please ? Thanks
Key question to me is about very significant dilution of existing equity interests… I am already down by more than 95%, what does very significant dilution entails ? I am just wondering if we get a 5% slice of nee company will it not be worth of more than 10P share price which is 3 times more than the current SP
