I read a story yesterday relating to Lion finance and how impressive its growth has been over the last few years.

The interesting part was that the IMF expects Georgia’s real GDP per capita to increase 61% in the seven years,to 2031.

That’s got to be good for TBC Bank group?

Winc and Incu are great income payers,also got some Hfel for exposure to far east and has a 10% divi as well.

Bp has always been a good investment for me,sold out a few days ago then bought back in when price dropped!

Looked at Iag about a year ago but didn’t buy and missed out on fantastic returns,still can’t win them all.

Hope your portfolio is holding up in these difficult times. Good knows what will happen next week!

Been lucky with PAF Glen Hoc and Fres. Fres apparently reporting next week,I assume 4th quarter so could be an opportunity if it dips. However Dge Admiral bme Orit been disasters for me. Sitting on a loss of 17% on admiral,have a look at that one divi might be good but not sure why it’s falling and if it will drop further? Orit down 13% has put me off reits for the moment.

Last few months I’ve reduced dividend paying shares and gone for a few more growth shares,,got some Sage.

Do you have any banks in your portfolio? I popped £1500 into TBC bank. They look l undervalued and pay divi around 6% .

Risky as operate in Georgia and couple of other countries around there anyway. Good luck with your portfolio.

Hi Spike,yes a nice divi declared for INCU & WINC. And another year begins and ur right it could be a cracker!

Trump has always been inconsistent but I think he’s onto something that most on the West haven’t realised yet,there could be a re evaluation of metals due to a lack of supply and their requirement for the EV revolution.

All currencies are becoming less valuable because of excessive printing by sovereign banks and China,Russia and others are buying commodities! SOMETHING IS DEFINITELY UNFOLDING.China last week put export restrictions on several precious metals,including silver and there is a shortage of silver already so that price is only going North. If you look on the royal mint website there is virtually no silver available to buy at the moment. Tbh approximately 25% of my portfolio is invested in miners Glen,PAF ,Fres and Bp, all producing and paying divis and I intend to increase on dips. Fres is my top pick as it is one of the biggest silver miners in the world and I’m also looking to buy a small amount of physical silver. Hoping Diageo makes a bit of a recovery this year but overall I am p,seed with my portfolio performance this year! Hope yours has done well and hoping 2026 is just as rewarding!

I think there is so much uncertainty around renewables presently that any significant capital appreciation is unlikely in the short term. Another factor is that renewable costs are likely to increase due to shortages of many metals,especially silver which has already increased and will no doubt go higher,especially as China has started export restrictions on many precious metals this month. As a holder I would love to be proved wrong.

Been away recently but back home now.

Budget wasn’t bad for me personally but don’t see it increasing growth in the economy so still think the UK is in a critical situation although I think a debt crisis will begin abroad then sweep around the world,possibly? Japan maybe?

Anyway ,bought back a few in Lgen for divi and happy with my gold companies,might even start buying some physical silver as that seems quite cheap in comparison to gold.

I have a similar problem,as like you, I have to sell something to buy something,not ideal but there it is!

With the budget fast approaching I’ve started to reduce my holdings in banks and asset managers. Increased my holdings in Glen,Bp,Dge. Only new shares I bought recently is coco cola (CCH) and PAF,HOC,FRES.

Been in and out of SETI before.Want to keep some cash back and see what occurs after budget.

At the moment a financial crash looks possible inUK,France and the states due to so much borrowing.

Hi Spike,reinvest is definitely the correct decision but I might pop it into something else. What a great share though,the price for me is up over 11% not including divis!Winc has been another great performer as well,growth is not as good this one but divis are slightly higher and I like the fact around 30% of the fund is invested outside USA.

So been adding as this investment just keeps slowly increasing. Up 6% so far. Can’t grumble at that!

Phnx done well for me too.

Regarding REITs I plumped for Orit so nursing an 8%loss.

Dge down about 22% but hoping that will recover.

Bme been a real disaster but still holding.

I’ve invested a small amount here to see how it grows or not. Up around 3% in about 3 months.

Wind & Incu fallen due to tariff wars so got a few more of those as I think overtime US looks strong.

Not in UKRE but always keep my eye on PHP & ORIT so if they drop might get in again,both pay very healthy divis.

However I have an account with iWeb and normally takes about 3 days

Got 11.543p here and 12.735 over at WINC so very pleased

Missed the rise in CAML today,up 7% after pulling out of a bidding war.

Might have to sacrifice INVP as I need some cash to buy and it has underperformed since I’ve had it.

Might look at a defence orientated etf. Seen an article on NATP so might take a look at that one!

I lost a lot of money being overweight in a Commodity business so very wary of similar companies.

Hold Bp and down about 10% but quite relaxed. Got out of Vod a year ago after they reduced the divi.

Been loading up on Glen recently as earning for 2026 and 2027 look impressive.

Although I have no spare cash was looking at Caml last week,11% divi but looks risky and involved in a bidding war over a copper prospect. Seen anything you like the look of recently?
