Taken out 2 support levels in the last 2 weeks. next one is around $1785 and for those that say it makes no difference as we are an explorer...ALL of the global miners make most of their profits from the rise in gold prices as many have not actually increased their production in the past 18 months. less profits, less to spend.

I would suggest that rather than people "not liking it", maybe they do not fully understand it. Possibly there should be a discussion about suddenly declaring this additional share allocation due to a potential purchase of the entire share capital. There are many reasons its in there, they don't all have to lead to dilution.

£750,000 worth of nominal value shares is 750m shares. And you can guarantee they won't be able to get spun around anytime soon if they were issued.

I really don't understand how anyone does not get it. Simple maths.

The ability to read a document does not instantly give you the knowledge to understand the document.

And I doubt many on here (except LTH) recalled that GGP had the option to issue, at the time, around 1bn shares to protect us from a hostile takeover or other requirement of which I believe they issued around 250m already. So there are 750m shares left to issue.

Major drop is around 1785, after that it tanks. Ask the experts. Just watched a kitco video. They know more than we do.

Gold should not drop through support at 1850 but if it does next level is 1825. Kneejerk reaction to vaccine that's at least not globally distributed until next Yr. Its only worth 11% on Pfizer sp right now. Let the dust settle on this news. It's great, but it's not coming tomorrow. Gold will rise, stimulus packages will roll. Just another blip on the GGP journey.

if that were true, chasing stop loses would simply be push it down hard and quick. they would not need to park the sp at the same level for over 40 mins.

Lots of things get discussed on here because as a by product of interaction you find out you do have things in common to sometimes discuss which is not GGP. We have all done it and sometimes some good conversations have come about whilst we sat waiting for news but some of the stuff in the last 36hrs should've be shut down immediately.

the whole point of holding a stock is to be in when news lands. most of us are continually holding because we keep getting news.

announcing you moved into an already rising stock, which will no doubt tip over with selling in a few days is not a good idea.
