id appreciate being added too please dan, I haven't posted very much here having been preoccupied with ecr but have quite a large stake here ... itsmattysutton thank you
i thought the same after a 300% rise ..... i was wrong
Guys we need to see this in a bigger picture. Its currently trading at 245% above the entry level in January. I dont see its been alked down, and even if it was its a staggering jump overall in 3 months. I think its finding its current level. But, and its very important....nothing has been produced yet. Thats why the potential is awesome. Dont lets get carried away with GKP talk. But at the same time dont ignore the potential. I think 35p is a possibility now for year end, once the figures begin to be accumulated in Sept/Oct time. If youre a darer, you may try to get in sub 20p. personally I wouldnt take the risk.
Well for anyone whos asked me wanting to know why weve had a 250% rise since january, its all out there now.and this hasnt even started yet. Good times.
well... a 100% rise in ten weeks with no news suggests its still to find its range, and im now looking at 20-25 rather than 15 -18 depending on whether todays rise is based on news that we havent received yet.If theres no news tomorrow I think the chances of buying in at 15 are disappearing quickly.
If prepared to wait till 2013 I see 40p minimum, depends obviously on several factors, mainly political issues in sensitive areas, but the management team know whats what and arent here for fun. I hoped for 20p by sept 12, so on todays rise, who knows?
Nice rise...
these are the new write ups from the last month, but my interest goes back quite a way when i was invested in kalahari mining. the team here are excellent, and know their stuff. and in the next 12 mths we may see a significant development in share price. ive been in contact this week to see when there is likely to be further updates and am awaiting a call back. spyke
The next step is to send a drilling team into the country to assess the quality of the ore. And by the end of September the company should have compiled a maiden resource estimate for 06/11.
Well its not very straightforward as my piffle the other day alluded to. But basically... West African Minerals Corporation recently acquired Ferrum Resources Limited (“Ferrum”), an iron ore exploration and mining group focused on the acquisition of interests in early stage iron ore exploration projects in Africa. Ferrum holds a 65.49% interest in CMC Guernsey Limited, which owns, through a 95% owned subsidiary, six iron ore licences that cover an extensive area of approximately 6,000 square kilometres in an emerging iron ore province in Cameroon, West Africa. Neighboring explorers include Sundance Resources and Affero Mining, who are each far advanced with development of iron ore projects. Historical aeromagnetic data indicate a continuation of the total magnetic intensity signature eastwards from Sundance Resources’ Mbalam project into two of the licence areas ... more information In addition, Ferrum holds a 75% interest in five exploration licences in Sierra Leone. Three of the northern licences are adjacent to or on strike of the Kukuna project owned by Cape Lambert Resources Limited. The fourth licence in the north occurs on strike of Cape Lambert’s Marampa project. ... more information Ferrum also has a 25% interest in applications for iron exploration permits in the Central African Republic which were recently denied and the licence holder is seeking to have the denial revoked. The assets themselves have huge potential – both near-term and longer-term. In Cameroon it has six permits in all. Dja, Djadom and Lélé in the east of the country are in the same geological neighbourhood as the Mbalam deposit. This is significant because Mbalam is being acquired by the Chinese firm Hanlong Mining Investment as part of its $1.5billion takeover of Australia’s Sundance Resources. However, the plan is to bring one of its three other prospects – Minko, Binga and Sanaga – into production first, possibly in as little as two years. While they are likely to be comparatively small deposits, they have the advantage of being easier to exploit. And given their proximity to the coast, it will be simple and fairly cheap to truck the direct shipping ore to the port for export to China or India. A relatively modest 2m tonnes a year of production of this DSO has the capacity to generate between $150million and $200million of cash a year, Dattels revealed. This would be more than enough to then bankroll the exploration of the larger, potentially world-class targets inland. In Sierra Leone it has five leases. Four of them are in the north of the country in a noted iron ore belt. Operating in the area are companies such as Cape Lambert, African Minerals and London Mining. West African has shot what is called an aeromagnetic survey over the key target, exploration licence 06/11, which has an estimated ‘250m to 500m tonnes of ore’. The next step is to send a dril
