If it goes to 8p I might get some. I think that might be a good lucky number because I grew 8 cabbages this year.
Reality is trying to be calculated rationally instead of using euphoria to value the gold find.
At first glance a PE ratio of 12.61 looks ok. I might have more chance here of making 10% here and there than with GGP.
14.2p a share. I got slated for saying it wasn't worth 37p a year ago. What a crappy return. Good job I didn't listen to the stock promoters at the time.
28p then 32p. Then 28p then 31p. Ooh 27p for 30 seconds. Then 30p then 28p. "I know I will just trade this!" Then whack 35p 42p 48p 55p 52p 60p 68p 75p 84p 92p. Sorry Sprouts did you miss it because you thought you could trade it what a shame.
I am not being caught out this time.
6 shares is £1.76. Enough to buy Tesco Baking Potatoes 2.5Kg and have a penny change. And they are not small potatoes.
Hopefully very valuable in the future. The problem is there is only about 5 people in the UK out of a population of 67 million that realise it going by this discussion board.
Knowing my luck we could get bonanza grades for a year and nothing happens to the share price. Then a Portaloo and Beko Fridge Freezer gets installed at Clontibret then instant 10 x multibag time! (Hope that cheers everyone up)
I am me!
It's just buying when sentiment is low and selling when sentiment is high. Sentiment can be measured by how much interest there is on these boards. Greatland used to get an odd post sometimes weeks apart. I remember a post on there saying "Are we the most undervalued gold company on the planet." This was probably around 2014. Look at it now!
It's not deramping. Its just saying don't be put off by the bizarre price movement's. It's only £11 million because very few have attempted to do the calculation of it potential value. Try explaining the value of a mineral deposit to anyone and watch their eyes roll. Folk are not interested until the shares have multiplied 5 fold or more. Then they will sell their grandmothers to buy the stock. I will be selling when there are 1000 posts a day on here.
I think Greatland was around £50 million market cap at the time.
Would it help the share price move if anyone read this article "Conroy Gold dispute continues firm appoints two new directors". It's in the Irish times. Google it. Gervaise Heddle wanted to be on the board in 2017. It's interesting reading.
When Newcrest came in Greatland went from roughly 1.7p to 2.4p. It stayed at 2.4p for a day or two if that and then drifted down to as low as 1.6p ish. Then stayed there for months. It seemed odd at the time. Months of torment followed wondering why the share price would not move. It was like the brakes were stuck on the share price. Nothing spectacular happened to get the share price moving in early 2020, just more good results.
Good call!
Coverage, interviews and articles are important to get the share widely known about.
Perhaps it's human nature. Everyone is looking in the rear view mirror instead of looking forward. Hopefully this won't go on for 18 months of share price torture like happened with Greatland Gold. Then all of a sudden a 40p share becomes £4 say over 12 months. That's what happened with Greatland. It was great result after great result plus when Newcrest came in a little flurry and then back down a bit. It took a long time to get it moving.
I learned two things today! A share price of 4.7p is a lower number than a 6p placing price. And 6p is more than 4.7p.
Show me the gold before I am old.
Hi. The drilling date for restarting is mentioned on the midweek roast interview.
