At least I got a chance to buy back in. I sold a little too early to get top price. I often only make a bit when I could make a lot more. I call it "being on the best side of a well managed **** up."
I bought a few more today. Extreme patience is key during disappointing share price movements. I think just buying a few here and there is good for me without rushing. My experience with Greatland Gold showed me that nothing much happening with the share price can go on for a lot longer than I expect. I heard once that history doesn't repeat itself exactly but it rhymes.
A mining share needs to be like a table with 4 legs to make it stand up. 1 leg is an economic deposit, 1 leg is it needs experienced management, 1 leg is financeability and the last leg is marketing such as the interviews and telling investors the story of what is happening. I think we have all the ingredients for a stable table in the early stages we just need time and a bit of luck on our side now.
Just watched the interview. Sounds good. I think just stick with it now for me and try not to worry about the weird share price swings that have just happened.
I will watch the Stockboxx interview tonight. Thank you for mentioning it.
Just listened to the Sunday Roast. I liked it.
£75 per oz sounds an ok figure to use to stay on the conservative side. 1 million oz x 42.5% = 425000oz. 425000oz x £75 = £31875000 Market cap. £11million current market cap goes into £31875000 nearly 2.9 times. Current share price 27.25p x 2.9 = just over 79p per share.
That sounds a good target for starters to me. I am hoping for a lot more.
If I ignore MumboJumbo and others, it is not a discussion site anymore it is just a sales pitch!
I am waiting for Newcrest and Greatland to value it. It's fair enough then. It does seem that the share price could go either way.
Thanks DeathStranding. That confirms what I remember. I read too much stuff and cannot always remember where it is on the internet.
I can remember seeing something in an article a while back about the Irish gold trend carrying on into Scotland. Something about where 2 seas met. There are some maps on the Scotgold website showing 2 faults. It mentions the Dalradian gold province continuing from Ireland to Scotland. I think we are nearer to the next fault line down looking at the pictures.
They had a lot of the licenses when the share price was around a tenth of a penny too. Massive potential then and folks laughed at me for recommending it. No one cared then. I don't think I will ever see a chance like that again.
I am going to wait for the next time it goes below the last low.
Great informative post DeathStranding.
I think I will too!
If we just reached 5 million oz of gold. 40% would be ours so 2 million oz. At 11 million pounds market cap its only £5.50 per oz. Sounds good to me.
I hope its different now as the new company are developing the asset. I know what you mean looking back. I am looking forward to news flow.
£3 would be a great start. A bit more would be nice too.
No one is interested in buying £1 plus coins at 28.5p each. But if it ever goes way beyond what it's worth everyone will be falling over themselves for a slice of the pie.
4p. Like it!
