Agree, we are actually up 4-5 % on the closing price of Friday, if you ignore the 24p UT which was due to the MSCI buy. Looking forward to the interim results from NC and outcome of the GDXJ rebalance.

50% increase over last note...and still 65km of growth drilling to go!..plus drill campaign at out other prospects.

Hi Nap, very true but to be honest i am over exposed on here and needed to diversify for a while and due to the hight liquidity recently it seemed like a good time. Still holding approx 13m for payday!

Hi Dillon, it was my trade..nothing sinister just accumulated recently hoping for a move and felt it was better put to use else where for the moment. Still holding a significant amount for the longterm.

I can confirm that was a sell, despite what others may tell you.

Nap,..thats right the US GDXJ seems to rebalance on a daily basis, but the UK version (currently holding 17.6m shares) seems to rebalance less frequently.
My point being that their buy/sell orders are usually large as they dont really seem to care too much about the price hence when you see a 1m+ trade it could just be GDXJ.

Every correction (and hype) usually ends with an acceleration of the movement. When volatility and trade volumes reach their peaks, the tops and bottoms of a movement are usually reached. The current correction in precious metals that began in August 2020, now seems to be in its final phase. From a technical perspective, we expect the bottom somewhere in February, after which a continuation of the recovery should become possible.

Mush, admission to GDX seems a little early but I have been keeping an eye on GDXJ (US) GGP holding and that has reduced from 218m (27/1/21) to 210m (23/2/21) but I believe this is in proportion to the reduction in fund size. The drop from 218m to 210m has been up and down too and may account for at least some of the volume and yoyo'ing of the SP on low volume days...eg. they added approx 2.5m since the 22nd Feb.
I know many claim the large trades are a secret buyer/seller and perhaps that is true for the missing volumes but for printed large trades it could be just GDXJ rebalancing. IMO

Extract from Commodity Discovery Funds monthly report (Jan 2021) . Seems like Willem Middlekoop was surprised and caught out by the drop too and hes an experienced active fund manager. However seems positive on a recovery and no doubt as he has stated previously he has been buying the dips.

"The poor performance was partly due to the fact that Greatland Gold, one of our largest holdings, lost a third of its value due to disappointing first drilling results for its second project. However, the Havieron discovery is still progressing as desired and we expect this will turn out to be a temporary dip."

..over the last few days, have been able to get a live quote to sell 5m+shares in one go...sure feels like it is about to move up.

I noticed these too, but thought they were puddles initially however they were not there on the last update. Great if someone can confirm.

I should add it also depends on your timeline and to some extent your holding. This has been so de-risked now that for me to continue to hold to and see a significant increase over the coming weeks/months is a no brainer.. as opposed to chasing Crypto, or other high risk miners. Ill take a very low risk 100% from here on my total holding, good luck chasing 1000% else where. Remember Hav is a once in lifetime discovery, still open in all directions ad depth, in one of the safest jurisdictions, currently being developed by one of the biggest miners in Oz ( Newcrest), at a pace which is blowing their own timelines out of the water...repeatedly..all we have to do is wait.

CTC nothing has changed, and in fact we works continue at pace on the ground, see Paddy's sat updates. Many argued Scally results are the reason, but this is simply not true as they have never been factored into the SP. Its still conjecture if there is manipulation in the back ground or simply that people are chasing rainbows else where...if true I am even more comfortable with my holding here as that money will return. This is why most researched individuals simply sit and wait for the SP to recover and go beyond the recent highs.
