They've already appointed Lycopodium at TK with a proven track record of building mines under budget and ahead of schedule.

If Endeavour (EDV) are happy to use Lycopodium, that's a good enough endorsement.

An additional £20 Million (over and above the already expected £15 Million ($20 Million) ) is sweet b.u.gger all to progress access to £5 Billion's worth of Gold.

My take, not that one opinion makes a jot of difference to a market reaction.

Nobody likes a discounted placing but I'm glad all of the previous wild speculation, driven by the delay and uncertainty, can now be silenced as Kefi moves forward.

I've read through the reactions, good and bad, and the posts that I broadly agree with (sorry, didn't put the authors names on them), are below.

'Will be probably open 1.25-1.3p and move back past 1.5p once the dust settles. Dilution is circa 20% so a small price to pay to get the plant constructed. Placing is with sticky institutional investors so can finally see a sustained rise in the share price over the next few months. Could see a similar move to SML after their discounted placing today.'

The neighbour has 3.3 Million Oz From 'a' similar structure. From the evidence so far, that FCM have 'three' of these structures on the property. So, 3.3 Million Oz on Sunbeam or a collective 9.9 Million Oz ?

Interesting that the historical mine on the Sunbeam structure, one of the three on the property, went down to 150 metres.

Referring to the second set of results with visible Gold, some of the salient points made by Marc Sale CEO in the interview below:

"It's an amazing uplift for the team. We have a lot of confidence that the structure exceeds 300metres because that 300 metres is at the southern end of a 5km long soil and vlf grid and we've got multiple anomalous samples along that 5km.

Added to that is that when doing the soil sampling, we found two historic shafts which we didn't know were there, so this whole Roy structure has the ability, the robustness, to be something special.

The Sunbeam property is an incredibly well endowed property. The Roy structure is one of three structures on the property, each of those three structures has historic development on it, each of those three structures is over 10km long, and we're just looking at a snapshot at the moment.

Maybe he can add Sunbeam / Roy to his three previous 1 Million Oz discoveries, with the difference being that at todays Gold prices, it would be a £3.7 Billion resource.

Current Market cap roughly £4 Million.

Well, he's already got a nose for discovering Million Oz deposits and he did spell it out in December, his preference for the Roy deposit in the Sunbeam licence and it's proximity to a probable 3.3 Million Oz resource.

From a Marc Sale interview in December:

"At Sunbeam, we've got Agnico Eagle, Hammond Reef, to the North West (open pit probable mineral reserves were estimated to be 3.3 million oz. of gold) and their Melema discovery to the South East, and we are literally sandwiched in between, there's not a spare claim between us and them on both sides.

You go over to Sunbeam, you've got the Pettigrew trend over 10km, the Sunbeam trend over 12 km, the Roy trend, again the same sort of dimensions, so there you've got over 30 km of anomalous gold bearing, and by gold bearing, I mean really gold bearing because each one of them had a mine, at Roy, a mine at Pettigrew and a mine at Sunbeam, and the government geologist took a sample at 28 ounces off the dump at Sunbeam, so Sunbeam is a super exciting 30km.
