Greetings my friend and I think Queenie has you well sorted with the list of places etc.I am partial to the George Hotel because I like the great location for all the bars , restaurants shops etc , they have a brilliant bar next door called the Tempus which makes the best peach Martini I have ever had and it is full of good looking birds that even Russell would adore!( whoops I forgot the trip is for your daughter not you ! lol)Also fun place called the Dome across the street but I really like all the small bars and little French restaurant behind George street .My only problem with the George is that I miss the old shabby chic rooms and they are now a bit toooooo modern but I guess this is the new standard everyone wants these days.
Under any circumstances do not do the Mary Kings Close tour of the secret underground world of Edin,It was torture and a total waste of time even the wax dummies fell over from the boredom !
Queenies list is brilliant but make sure you also go into the National Gallery and have a peek at my distant relation painted by Sargent ,Lady Agnew of lochnaw also please expain to her why I am soooooooooo broke thanks to CUP! hahahah LOL .Also I will be on the street corner with the tin cup outside Jenners department store until Queenie gives me the SAT nav location I need in Glasgow so feel free to drop a few coins in the cup, actually 9 pounds to be exact as I want one of those Martinis in the Tempus bar please .
In Seville go to the Alfonso, really cool bar and lots of famous people there! Or so they say ,as without my contacts in I cannot see anyone far away or even close for that matter!
Also the Alcazar and my favorite place the Casa de Pilatos,ATB and when in EDIN do not forget my 9 quid, actually a tenner will do as I have to tip the barman! Have a brilliant time!
