So many variables. I see it as a gamble like any other share, but with what we know of our investments and our CEO, its a calculated gamble imo.
Sometimes, one just has a feeling about a share and (to me) Vela feels like its going the right direction. Again, patience is required.

No. My view is the Acadia Trial is key.
But to what extent remains to be seen.
If it has been found to be more than just simply a covid treatment then its potential is massive. I understand it will be produced in pill form and therefore manufacturing, storage and distribution would be relatively straightforward.
So, its currently impossible to predict until full trial results are in and analysis complete. The rest of the current investments I find very interesting, but I am wary of bitcoin being unable to maintain its current momentum. Hope I'm wrong.
US Dollar will be in further trouble now Biden is in and may never fully recover.
I would expect gold to come into its own at some point in 2021, so hoping North Peak can come good. Mode firing atm and if bitcoin is a keeper then the China market beckons and its vast.
That's my view. as things stand atm.
I hold 12 million shares, but would like to increase to 20 million. I.need one of my other investments to pay out, but all strategically positioned awaiting news (just like Vela) so not able to increase my holding just yet.
One thing of course thats massively in our favour and I haven't mentioned is our CEO. A proven Captain fit to guide the good ship Vela upwards and beyond.

Rubbish mate, Tanzania Govt expects Companies that extract their resources to do EXACTLY that. Shanta Gold (SHG) are an explorer turned miner that has been doing just that for years. In fact they were heralded by the Tanzanian Govt.recently for the remedial work they performed.by way of infrastructure and enhancing local communities. They are more than happy to do so. I think it's now a given that Companies will set aside funds/profits for this very reason.
The Govt expects it, and you wouldn't want.to be on the wrong side of President John Magufuli.

May need to wait a bit longer than this month Mark.
Though, with current situation it may well be brought forward from original Q2 timeline.
Not so very long ago 10 million shares were 6.9/7K.
Now looking at 1K plus per million shares if it holds at this range.
Still a great value opportunity at this price imo.
