Ok jezza tell me what they are going to do, you clearly know. Why are they dis-applying pre-emption rights? Suggesting this is common, and I don't know enough is not a very good answer. I don't care what you think about my knowledge, I want to know why they include this

only, noone is panicking, I'm talking about these voting items. Why would these be necessary right now? The only thing POLY should be doing is buying back shares or issuing dividends. I cannot see any situation where we would need to issue more shares at this price. Even if it is for management bonuses - the share has dumped 90% it probably isnt the time for that.

I've heard it estimated that China under state their gold reserves by 3-4x and Russia maybe by 2x. Kremlin becoming majority shareholder is nationalisation and is unlikely at this stage.

My theory is that if moex returns shares with active overseas listings, the disparity in the share price between moex and overseas listings may make moex look a clown market. Moex prices will likely be higher due to no shorting and no foreigner sales. Perhaps they are concerned it will make moex look manipubator (which it is). It also could just be tit for tat over Russian stocks being suspended abroad
