I am wondering what will happen when Truss has gone. How long will it take to hold a general election and will voters be prepared for installing a one party government because the Tories are going to be extinct. No hope with the Lib Dems stepping up to the plate so its Starmer or nought. Will the city react to a country in turmoil and leaderless while the ballot papers are being printed..

Oil is an integral part of our current way of life. Just like coal and steam was a hundred and fifty years ago. I believe we are witnessing a once in generation change and a move towards a realisation that currently the age of consumerism is waning.
Our beloved leaders have thrown all the cards in the air and who knows what will come up trumps (Do not like Trumps). Putin is causing the Europeans to re think their existence. He is determined to wreck his country, kill off his people and go down in history as another human failure.
As power moves east we as a people must change. If we resist it will be forced on us by circumstances beyond our control. The last two weeks has cost me dear. I am considering my options. They say you have not lost until you sell but when the hole is deep one must stop digging..I was to within a few hundred pounds of break even today and then somebody mentioned WFT again an he ho once more I am heading south. What is still missing is the profit I had built up over a number of years. Twenty five years ago I was a protester and caused quite some mayhem so I cannot citicise those who glue themselves to things in order to further their aims. History is littered with protestors but I just begin to wish Guy Fawkes had succeeded...

I had to attend the funeral yesterday of a long time friend. He was a bit of an idiot, talked quite a lot of hor licks but meant well. Quite a lot of us friends were there and afterwards we all agreed he had picked an excellent time to pop his clogs. Today due to the state of the NHS nobody would now be aware he was ill and by the time they found out they would have had a box by his bed. As it was he had two years of treatment and died a total wreck.
It so reminds me of the UK economy. Tomorrow we have the hightlight of the Govennor and Karsi have a duel... Liz will then shoot the winner!! My portfolio will take a long time to re build..
