I did not think any figures would be released until a deal was announced but I thought this would be finalised this week. Now appears not to be the case. I have neither sold nor added since I sold half my holding some weeks ago on the spike and see this as a pure gamble. Really think if it does change hands many small pi's will lose their shirts yet again having bought in to high months ago on hopes of green government strategy.
My real experience is that local councils could not organise a drinks party in a brewery and I spent 13 years working for them. Policies change like the wind and at the moment it is a cold wind. Just look at the integrated transport plans introduced by Prescott. Money was poured into rural bus schemes, bus passes and infrastructure but now the bus grants are being cut, the bus pass age being raised and the emphasis once more on private cars and road haulage. It has been a farce. Now green issues are heading the same way. Locally re cycling depots are closing and everything is now social enterprise attempting to find volunteers.
Teg is right in the fore front of this inept policy making so I shall hold that which I have and if it all goes pear shaped in the end I won't lose a fortune .. GL all
