sure, it's only an opinion,
of course i might be wrong.
i don't buy this idea though which
a few people repeat on this bb of
the shorters 'looking for mid 40s'.
reality is, they will always seek whatever price
they think they can best get, given the
circumstances as these change over time.
but that will have nothing to do with any
semi-publicly announced 'targets', since
what possible motive would a shorting
fund have to be 'honest' at any point
about a buy-back price? i'm not saying
that it won't hit the 40s, it might, it might not,
just that i wouldn't place too much credence
in anything shorters or proxies say re targets.
it is usually in their best interests to deceive.
(...even less reliable than broker targets, lol.)
