RE: Flanks3 Jul 2020 14:38
ragsrob, if it was already a ‘done deal’ then surely they wouldn’t have
needed to get UBS to hold an FSP? - which has the purpose of trying
to drum up interest from external parties in making a bid etc. there
were months on this board of multiple posters claiming that suspension
was to cover up the final bits of a deal being signed off involving CITIC etc,
so that a sale or deal would imminently be revealed ... but now it becomes
apparent that no takeover bid at all was received by EUA during those last
few months, so now they have ditched CITIC (or else effectively admitted
CITIC weren’t that involved in the first place) & are trying again via an FSP.
(i can see it’s exciting that EUA are trying to use UBS to sell part/all of
the company, but it’s hardly news that the BoD want to sell it, shurely?)
... still no production figures from WK (why not?) ...
... but EUA’s cash burn remains significant ...
... strange that dimitry let 1p warrants lapse ...
... interesting that their nomad resigned ...
... AIM suspended the share, but it still
... remains suspended months later...
i’ve said before, i *do* think EUA has a legitimate business, so if
they really want to sell it at a fair price then i presume they will
eventually be able to find a buyer, can’t see why not. but the key
bit remains, what will be an achievable valuation for such a sale.
(if dimitry thinks he can sell the company for £££s per share,
it is very odd indeed that he let those warrants at 1p lapse.)
