(Just to save a little time in case peeps can’t be bothered to look back over share price graphs, given the periodic renaming of this company from PPA —> ASTAR —> MXO —> ADME —> whatever next?, …. when olivier took over at ASTAR the share price was ** 1p **. with him as CEO, ASTAR was renamed as MXO, and then eventually was renamed as ADME once the fake sheikh bought in. soon after, olivier slithered off, and osa took over. … when the ‘sheikh’ bought in through a fundraising, he was buying those share at 0.04 pence per share, ** 1/25th ** of the share price when olivier took over as CEO at ASTAR - dreadful s/p performance under olivier!

For sure, osa trashed the company even more once he took over, that guy was just a complete joker /spoof from the word go.. but stefan olivier’s track record before that was appallingly bad. he burnt through huge amounts of shareholder funds and cratered the share price.

take a look back at what happened to the share price under olivier after he took this over as ASTAR then renamed it MXO, but make sure you take into account the 100:1 share consolidation in H1 2019. stefan made lots of money for himself and cornhill, but my golly he was terrible for MXO / ADME shareholders.

It’s quite clever what the guy has done, in a way. he had previously promised that there would be a public announcement from the supposed DaaP buyer; if that had happened, it would have provided at least some independent verification that somebody real was doing some kind of business with cloudtag (even if it might not have confirmed the kind of amounts amit has bandied about).

but at this stage, there has been no such announcement at all from any DaaP buyer, nor is there any specific date given for that… amit seems to have made everyone forget that broken promise by dangling this stuff about payment from an agent.

Stonk, i think i stand corrected, thank you. —- although i note it does not state the converse, as it were, i.e. that a company is not obliged to RNS something which is already public knowledge? - or is it simply that the company should still RNS such, but the significance of “without delay” does not apply, since there is no real need to protect against a sudden false market developing?. thanks again.

… the point is that returns to shareholders from an asset sale (even if virtually all assets are sold) are not regulated in the same way as returns from a take-over.

specifically, after an asset sale a company could choose to pay out to some holders with cash, but pay ‘non-cash equivalents’ to other shareholders (- which might or might not be genuinely equivalent!).

this doesn’t necessarily mean an asset sale is the wrong strategy for any given company. just means, if one is put to shareholders to vote one, read very carefully what is being proposed about the structure of the payout, i.e. if some shareholders will be treated differently from others.)

(& yes, i do know that shell and bp aren’t AIM companies … )

Stonk, it was a bit of an extreme /cartoon example, but the point is simply, AIM companies are required to RNS material info in a timely manner, *whether or not* it has already filtered into the public domain through some other route.

Stonk, re 12:42, if a sunday newspaper reported that Shell had made a takeover bid for BP, that doesn’t let Shell off the hook about RNS just because it’s already in the public domain.

(what most of those licence-shuffling AIM companies have in common is, they seldom actually get round to doing anything much by way of actual production, and if they do it’s usually for pretty trivial amounts and loss-making. — ? rings a bell re EUA?)

but lots of AIM ‘explorers’ and natural resource investment companies play these licence games anyway … generate ‘news’ and pi buzz by applying for licences, swapping licences about, farming in / farming out, etc etc …

… but with many of these AIM companies, that’s all the game ever really is, since the various licences usually turn out to be near worthless, just playing cards to be shuffled around to bamboozle the marks & fuel placings.

the most fundamental problem for EUA in my view is not this particular WUP, it is simply that their underlying ‘assets’, licences etc just ain’t worth a **** in a sock. russian state already mined out this area long ago, uneconomic scraps left at best. … that’s why they ain’t published the monte DFS, imv, as it would just give the game away that it ain’t worth a hill of beans.

EUA has a small loss-making mine which has stopped mining, can’t sell what it had dug up, and has no income coming in and no cash to develop anything meaningful —- applying for umpteen worthless licences ain’t gonna change that. aimho.

Bernie madoff, charles ponzi and robert maxwell all made good money for themselves in their early and mid careers. that didn’t mean it was a good idea to trust them & hand money to ‘em.

Mcco, it’s a paid role with very little work involved, as imv this company does ****** all. ker-ching, milking the remaining shareholder funds until it eventually delists.

If they wanted to do some ‘housecleaning’, why leave olivier in place? - his track record with MXO / ADME has been appalling across many years. rinse and repeat, massive value destruction of shareholder funds.

The bull case is simply, and only, amit says that it’s all going to work out just fine and very soon, all you need to do is trust amit.

the bear case is simply, pretty much anything that amit has ever tried to claim in relation to cloudtag has utterly failed to happen, and he has failed to produce any independently verifiable evidence whatsoever that it will be any different this time around, so why on earth would you trust amit?

all the chat here is getting a bit manic. … nearly end of term /***-end of the party, neither pro not anti seem able to take it seriously anymore. all know the game will be effectively over relatively soon, so all can breath a sign of relief and move on to other things. reminiscent of the last days of african minerals, or sodom and gomorrah.

Related issues in some ways, given the strong statistical evidence that obesity is a significant risk factor for many kinds of cancers.
