Retour. Fair point. Fireworks and the volatility of the last few days I hope are behind us now. Sp holding well at the moment, and good progress since Monday.

Agreed. Didn't see much in the drilling report to excite the market. Pretty much as forecasted. But its copper that should be the driving force here. Hoping for another 2% on the SP today....

How are we viewing the Lumentum results ? Are they good or bad ? I don't know this stock very well at all....

I agree JC, this share is incredibly annoying and cruel at times. But a 5-6% rise today is welcome and the first sign of grrenshoots. We hope to see this over 120 soon but clearly this is going to take time, as this shares exposure to shorter and volatility make only the brave willing to put their money in at the moment.

Very good to see this rise today. Resistance at 124s seems to have been broken for the moment. Wonder where this will end up ...

Nice rise over the last few minutes. Its against the markets. Most shares on the FTSE are down at the moment.

With some shock I opened the RNS today to find the death of Phillip Rasmussen at the weekend. My thoughts are with his family. Very sad indeed.

Agreed Gotrader. All markets down globally and stocks are taking a hit. Though IQE is down a larger percentage than others less effected by the tech sell off in the States. But thats mostly with stocks like Facebook etc. Looks like IQEs surge in the last two days may have been a reaction to China's agreement to buy more US semiconductors to offset Trumps trade war sabre rattling. Our fall today is pretty much in line with all the UK indecies, and most probably Europe as well. We should return when the indices go up again, so a good time to buy I think.

Yeah I tried limit orders too. Put one in at 131.50 and it eventually went for 130.50. Good but it took about 20 mins to place. I actually did better placing smaller orders of around 2000 shares. Wish I'd known this earlier as I would;d have topped up more on this mornings lows....but you live and learn !

Yes just got live price now for 1000 shares. Up to now I've been trying to place orders for 5000. Obviously not enough shares in the market....

Not been able to get a live buy price on Hargreaves Lansdown for about an hour and a half now. Anyone else with thewsame problem?

Hi Farruggia1967 Thanks for your feedback. I had my probs after the midday auction, but getting live prices now. Just got blocked out with the 'unable to get live prices' warning. All good at the moment. Cheers.

Cant get a buy or sell quote on the Hargreaves Lansdown broker site for about 20mins. Anyone having the same problem elsewhere?
