The next focusIR Investor Webinar takes place tomorrow with guest speakers from WS Blue Whale Growth Fund, Taseko Mines, Kavango Resources and CQS Natural Resources fund. Please register here.
I was sent a letter on Friday from Share Centre and that said that the company that had my shares was FRR Caymen and had been dissolved. So now the shares are worthless and had been removed from my SIPP.
Any thoughts?
LOL.
Nope.
Can I join now?
I seem to remember some months ago something about people verifying the number of shares they had, or something like that, in order to be part of some 'club' that existed outside of this chat room. The recent messages suggest to me that an email has been sent to those 'members'.
Is there a separate group getting updates or communications from other investors?
I don't know the guy, just been told he is super positive. I consider everyone to have a more valid and stronger opinion than mine, so if you sound like you know what you're talking about I'll buy it.
For anyone thinking I'm a shorter or a plant, have a look at my previous posts. I'm thick as big ship, shouldn't be in shares.
I don't even like gardening let alone like being a plant, that's hilarious!
Does that mean I've been filtered? So the one who filters me won't see any of my posts? If that's the case then that's fine, I have nothing useful to add to things anyway, I'm always the one asking the questions.
But it'd be a real shame if I can't see the posts from the person who filtered me, RainbowRider has made great contributions to this chat and amongst others is a valuable source of information and debate.
I don't like being filtered, because it'd be for the wrong reasons, I haven't been rude, I'm not trying to deramp the share, I have highlighted negative words such as "cancelled", and these worry me. But isn't part of this chat about airing your worries and talking them out?
Well that made much more sense, although I do get defendant and plaintiff confused and have to reread and breakdown sentences with those words in them.
So Hope was a boss in a company that looked for companies that had a weak spot, usually in the form of outstanding loans, they bought the loans and then profited from the repayments or asset stripping to pay the loan if the company failed.
Hope was also a boss in Frontera, he used his Frontera position to stop Frontera from securing sources of finance, this would weaken Frontera and allow Hope and his first company to make a profit on the fall of Frontera (that's the fiduciary duty for Frontera part).
The doomsayer that I am didn't like the word 'cancelled' in this bit though " ... on January 25, 2019, FRC was officially delisted and its shares were cancelled. As a result, ... "
I didn't say that I hadn't kept up with events, I said that I haven't understood them, without all the information, who would?
So if you have no Nomad you have to be private, I guess we won't have a Nomad until after the court case is settled, which Nomad would want a difficult job of advising during a turbulent time?
The last time I was on here there was some sort of exclusive 'club', is that still active? If so, what is its purpose?
Hello, In all this that has gone I think the thing that bothers me the most is that Zaza has opted to take the company private. I just can't help thinking that this is not good for people who hold shares, what do we now hold shares in? The company, and it's assets are private, so how can you have a share in something that you can't have a share in.
I am an investor, I have/had 2,500,000 shares in FRR, as time has gone on and the news/gossip from the court case has been posted on here I have followed it (not understood much of it) but I keep coming back to the private company bit.
I'm sure that all the reasons for taking the company private could have been the same for just suspending the shares, correct me if I'm wrong.
So, my money was in an eSIPP and now that they are a private company what the heck does mean for me

What's the significance of the 7.05 post?
I'll assume that's a good thing then?
The point I am making is that any time there is a development in lithium REM are supporting it, any time Elon Musk is coming up with a new idea, REM will support it. There is a problem with BB/Text Messages/emails etc, you can't get the tone of voice the poster would use if they were speaking. So readers are quick to think they are being insulted. I'm not a clued up as you are on interplanetary travel and survival, so I kept it simple. I don't try to be clever, I'm just fed up with people on here jumping on every lithium connection and thinking were involved. You've clearly taken offence at my replies to you, that's a shame I thought you were a good poster and I read your posts with interest. Do you seriously see this lithium/fluorine combination being used to propel space craft and that it's coming from Sonora? I hope Elon does do what he thinks he can, and I hope that it is with the lithium from Sonora, I just don't see it happening.
None of us on the BB know what's going on. We're not in the board room. Simples. All the theories are just that, theories. We all look at the evidence and draw our conclusions, where ever that lies and then they get published on here. Some one is going to be right.
Welshy ... No, do you? Great article, where does it mention Lithium/Fluorine. It's methane, has REM invested in any cow farms? For ITS methane could be an abundant resource in the atmosphere of other planets and more capable of being used to return to Earth than finding, mining and processing Lithium/Fluorine.
I tend to take most posts on here as a load of ship, made up my mind an when in doubt review my own research. If the general idea is that we are gonig to supply rocket fuel then read this ... "Lithium and fluorine. The highest specific impulse chemistry ever test-fired in a rocket engine was lithium and fluorine, with hydrogen added to improve the exhaust thermodynamics (all propellants had to be kept in their own tanks, making this a tripropellant). The combination delivered 542 s specific impulse in a vacuum, equivalent to an exhaust velocity of 5320 m/s. The impracticality of this chemistry highlights why exotic propellants are not actually used: to make all three components liquids, the hydrogen must be kept below –252 °C (just 21 K) and the lithium must be kept above 180 °C (453 K). Lithium and fluorine are both extremely corrosive, lithium ignites on contact with air, fluorine ignites on contact with most fuels, including hydrogen. Fluorine and the hydrogen fluoride (HF) in the exhaust are very toxic, which makes working around the launch pad difficult, damages the environment, and makes getting a launch license that much more difficult. Finally, both lithium and fluorine are expensive compared to most rocket propellants. This combination has therefore never flown. During the 1950s, the Department of Defense initially proposed lithium/fluorine as ballistic missile propellants, but an accident at a chemical works in 1954 where a cloud of fluorine was released into the atmosphere convinced them to instead use LOX/RP-1."
