Oilbell I agree mate in sorts but you have to remember that months ago they were talking low level data review, mid range due dillegence. If the major is now looking to formalise they would be into high level due diligence, high level legals, their own board politics, EA, BG buy in, permits (as parparing mentioned). Imo if the previous months of low level work had not been done it would have been an initial 6 month period (min) not 3. This is a very positive sign as it means three months of hard work from the major and nothing untoward has come up, thinking I agree with parparing the EP is key. The major will not sign a thing until it’s in writing and it may even be legally linked to the deal with BPC. There may even be clauses in relation to the BG. This isn’t now a 5 min job when your commuting millions if not billions. Months ago was “free of charge”, this stage now isn’t and heavy legal fees no doubt which wouldn’t have been spent months ago. Previous discussions were testing the water free of charge imo before money starts to get spent to reach a commercial transaction
