Well they are certainly branded as Pharm2Farm on the Amazon advert. I’ve ordered some with delivery due tomorrow.... I’ll see if there are any clues as to who distributed them. Remember, it doesn’t have to be FM.... they don’t get their exclusive Amazon selling rights until they place an order of 1 million masks per month
Agreed.... you’d have thought ‘Covid Killing Face Mask’ would be headlined.
Tweet from Pro-Larva this morning to end speculation. The mask IS now officially available to the public. Current points of sale outlined on website

Orders now being taken on Amazon for next day delivery..... that’s a change since yesterday. Also, this proves that sales are not exclusive to the health sector as suggested in the ITV report. Game on !!!

“Currently producing 5 million masks per month”
Production currently limited to 5 million per month but additional capacity being created in Europe to meet demand.
Also good to see the machine in operation and GC in his new lab coat !!
Him & Gareth are mates already. He’ll know all about it
Yup.... the new design headlines that the mask is Covid-killing, and also other viruses including influenza. I think the BOD have been reading this BB !!!
Nate.... something worth bearing in mind is that the vaccines don’t necessarily stop the virus from spreading. Also whilst they lessen the chances of someone becoming SERIOUSLY ILL, it doesn’t mean that someone exposed to the virus won’t become ill at all. Many working days will be lost to Covid, even when we are all vaccinated because people will still become poorly. Additionally we don’t know how long the vaccine protection lasts for or what variants might come along which the vaccines are not so effective against. With all of that in mind and also the fact that Covid is a global issue, not just a UK one, there will be a need for Covid-killing masks for years to come I’m afraid.
The masks have a 2 year shelf life
The photos show very clearly that this particular box has a shelf life to Jan 2023
Therefore.... these masks have been produced in the last few weeks. They cannot be samples from 2020.
So someone is producing and supplying. Is it P2F or Volz ?...... I’m not sure that really matters !!!
Monaco.... totally agree, an intentionally negative construction of the RNS... see my earlier post.
As for the masks and potentially missing the boat. The whole mask industry is being looked at and will be regulated with new standards given the events of the last year. Pretty soon, all of the ‘cheapie’ disposable masks we’ve all been wearing ( and thank God for them) will fall short of the new standards and only next generation masks will be allowed in certain settings. That means a HUGE demand on those companies who have the capability to produce them. So a huge opportunity and plenty of room for multiple competitors in addition to P2F and Volz
In my view yesterday’s RNS was deliberately worded to suppress the SP for a few days. My guess is that, instead of the warrants, certain individuals have been given the opportunity of buying cheap shares instead.
A lot has been said about the manufacturing process not yet being at expected production levels. So what ? .... we don’t yet have the orders, so it’s hardly an issue. Over the coming weeks P2F will be tweaking things so that higher production levels can be achieved, spending money on an independent consultant to ensure optimum efficiency. Why would they do that ? ...... BECAUSE THEY KNOW THAT ORDERS ARE COMING IN AND THEY NEED TO RAMP UP IN READINESS. They will start by concentrating on a single shift, which seems to have caused a furore here. OF COURSE THEY WILL START WITH A SINGLE SHIFT... do you really think that the independent consultant could be on site more than 8 - 10 hours per day ? Once they’ve got it all sussed and orders are coming in thick and fast ( as expected), the key staff from ‘Shift 1’ will be deployed into ‘ Shifts 2 & 3’ and replicate the process there.
The RNS could have been worded very differently and the same news could have ticked the SP up. Like I say though, the RNS was constructed and worded in such a way as to send the SP downwards. The only reason for that is that it will soar upwards again and the more astute will make shedloads of cash.
Having read the RNS numerous times I’m not sure whether the issues are with the machine itself. It looks to me that it’s more to do with the P2F staff... perhaps an underestimation by P2F on the no. of staff needed or their skill set ? The independent consultant seems to be more of a logistical expert than a mechanical expert. We also know that P2F are still running an advert for a Machine Operative vacancy. Pretty poor planning if I’m correct, but I’d much rather have this issue, which can be steadily resolved as the orders come in, than a duff machine.
I think it’s almost certain that Volz certification is the next announcement and that they will step in to assist P2F with UK demand in the short term. Also, I wouldn’t rule out Volz trying to purchase the mask division of P2F from RMS. They know there is a huge worldwide market for next generation masks and that demand will go through the roof when lockdowns are eased and we all start mixing again. The current bunglings of our BOD probably presents them with a huge opportunity to make an offer.
Fully expect another RNS advising that Volz have received their certification and that UK demand will be met by Volz until P2F have sorted out their fine tuning issues.
SP will then rocket straight back up again :-)
And big buys from yesterday now showing too !!!
I suspect that the next RNS will have needed some time to put together. Machine commissioned & running, board resignations, new appointments, news of contracts ((UK), update on Volz certification (rest of world), use of £5million (some of it on marketing / advertising I hope), updates on other RMS projects ( it’s not all about masks).
Finally, just an observation, Professor Van Tam, Deputy Chief Medical Officer, has been talking about how masks will need to be worn for the foreseeable future. He is currently seconded into his role from Nottingham University of course. I’m certain that he will know about his mate Gareth’s masks so I’m not ruling out much wider HM Gov interest in the product (already hints of NHS purchases of course)
Thanks for the reassuring responses guys. Probably just another clumsily worded RNS I guess. Good to see additional focus being cast away from the UK too..... it’s a global market after all.
Hi guys, been a holder since 2009 and was once a prolific poster here. Whilst I welcome the partnership with Mologic, I felt a little deflated to learn that even with Mologic, their own manufacturers, BBI and Abingdon put together, we will only have capacity of several million per month.
Definition of ‘several’ - “more than two but not many”
The RNS goes on to say that this capacity could be increased with further investment..... what does that mean ?
I’m really pleased that the current SP is strengthened by progress in Avacta’s non-Covid projects with room for further upward movement. However, are there indications in the Mologic RNS that the delays have lost us some of the capacity we had lined up with BBI & Abingdon, and that we may need to throw more money at it now ??
Yes, I attended. To be honest, I considered selling on the spike after the first vote as it was clear from the landslide which way the other 3 would go. However, the fact that the camera view showed only Legge & Cave spoke volumes. That was a message from the BOD that GC is now the main man and that we should feel reassured. I am now very confident of very quick and very significant progress with plenty of news flow and no dilution. I’ve held my shares but have rated them as a strong buy for anyone with spare funds.
