I almost fell out of bed when I saw the ASX price...
I've signed it too
Do you have tonight's lottery numbers? My lucky dip strategy is not working.
"multiple potential pay zones identified"... I love it. :-)
The whole UK infrastructure is in dire need of investment... We have one of the most expensive rail systems in the world, every second motorway seems to be a "smart motorway" using hard shoulders, there is a looming energy crisis and the water distribution systems aren't great. Something has to break at some point.
In terms of rail in particular, Seaangler makes some very good points. Building on this, for the size of the UK too and dense populations, rail doesn't really make sense for haulage. Sending things to Europe - yes - But internally road is best IMO. One of the greatest things this country can do is get rid of all the "single person cars" on the motorways (I'm one of them), through much cheaper and efficient rail, as well as more effective car sharing schemes (I'm thinking like California). Anyway, rant and coffee break over.

I wonder if this is on the radar at ITM Power... https://www.energy.gov/articles/department-energy-announces-31-million-funding-advance-h2scale
H-hi - For me, the winning strategy for hydrogen is going to be on the haulage / mass transit systems in the short term... Toyota, Nikola, Alstom and others are giving it a good push. Mass transit and haulage systems just can't afford to have assets sat around charging batteries... The economics don't work.
No worries Skeletor - My response was a bit tongue in cheek. Not heard of IKA until you mentioned it. Interesting company, but not one for my portfolio unfortunately. In terms of hydrogen however, this is a good board...
I think most of us are invested in ITM here Skeletor.
For me personally, I see hydrogen taking off in the power-to-gas and haulage (trucks, trains and ships) industries in the next few years. Alstrom, Nikola, Toyota and several others are really pushing. The cars industry will IMO be a second wave along the line.
As to batteries, I can see their uses (most FCEVs actually have batteries too), however pure BEVs will likely dominate the passenger vehicle market in the short term.
let's also not forget that the third strand companies like ITM offer are the chemicals / manufacturing market, with the 10MW unit coming online at the Shell refinery later this year.
For me personally, ITM is a medium term play.
Spot on Garry.
Loving the ANN... :-) If only I had the funds on Friday... GLA
Thanks for the link too moneyhawk...
Thanks JofH... I'm glad I'm not the only one not to understand the 400mmbl breakdown. I've spent a bit of time trawling through a lot of previously released information this morning.
With four different layers in the Torok, there is certainly another good roll of the dice to come. As with all oil exploration, nothing is guaranteed.
GLA
What was the 400mmbls based on? Was it the Nanushuk play only (my understanding) or all three layers?
The corporate presentation from September last year talks about potentially 389mmbls recoverable in the Middle Stellar Discovery (125 mmbls net), within the Torok formation. This layer was the largest of four in Torok....

And it is a very good RNS too...
Google periodically have this issue with a few of my stocks... They will resolve it.
I use the investing website... Not perfect, but does everything I need it to do https://m.uk.investing.com/equities/tangiers-petroleum-ltd?cid=27709
No worries beats... As I say, not the best, but I find it does the job for me.
Not the best site, but works for those who don't have L2 https://m.uk.investing.com/equities/tangiers-petroleum-ltd?cid=27709
