Hi All. Collectively over 11million shares have been added on loan in the last few days. These shorters are very resilient and will continue to try and drive the SP lower. Only the very brave or extremely stupid would short GGP at this stage. The risk reward is leaning towards the long side. We will have to hang in there an wait just a little longer for a significant rise. ATB Speedy

They want it as low as poss to max returns on their gamble and achieved 5.76p back last Oct after adding 18million to the stock available to short. By he end of Oct the position had been reduced by over 20million giving the shorts a profit and the SP started to rise.

They can and will continue to dick about with the SP until the risk is too great. At the moment it seems as the market has decided that any buy at or under 8p is too good an opportunity to miss.

Hi Zoros. 1% of stock shorted is,as you say, small. 1% of stock in issue traded in an illiquid market is substantial and seasoned traders can make a huge difference with well timed sells. There are other factors to consider but to think the shorts are irrelevant is misguided. You also state a reason for the low SP is "we have no gold", that is also wrong, we do have a massive amount of gold and it is priced as "in ground" and the nearer we get to production the higher that in ground price is calculated. Royalty streamers would not be in business otherwise. ATB Speedy

Hi Tig. Stansbury just want you to pay for a tip. Most cos they recommend are paid for advertising. Better off keeping hold of your GGP stock or buying some Brits, obviously. ATB Speedy

Hi MH01. SP or FMV are two completely different items. Please contemplate on what you have just posted. There is no chance of Newmont getting GGP for £500mil. What i am suggesting is FMV for Hav not GGP . ATB Speedy

Hi Jiffy. I see £1.5billion as FMV today for in ground ore plus a bit for potential. Med to long term this will obviously rise with production happening and FMV well exceeding this. Time is not on Newmonts side and the longer they take to make an offer the more they will have to pay, that is why i see an offer coming soon. Accepting that offer is another matter. ATB Speedy

Hi MH01. Not sure that stating todays FMV is circa £1.5bill as ramping. I feel that is well inside the low/ high range. ATB Speedy

Hi All. My "stab in the dark" fair value of £1.5bill is for today. When DTM FS and new drill results come in the FMV will obviously increase. This is why i think Newmont will strike early, they are fully aware of the "potential". This is for Hav only. If an offer is forthcoming i am 100% confident that SD will seek to maximize the offer due to the "potential". ATB Speedy

Hi Matty. Good question. Somewhere around £1.5billon is fair value today. Would Newmont pay that much? 20mill ozs at $1400/oz profit says yes. ATB Speedy

Hi Summit. Baby and bath water spring to mind. 2008 saw a high of $1k/oz with a 3.5% gain on the year. JPM took over Bear Stearns and shorted the market. Look where we are now. The POG has doubled since then and is still in an unloved place. When the market starts to love gold the rise will surprise most folks. ATB Speedy

Hi All. When the market wakes up and realizes that things are not good with the world, the shift into real assets will see the miners wake from their slumber and out perform all other assets. The miners have been in a massive bear market for a decade or more, so starting from a very low point will make the rise even more dramatic.

Finance for exploration is almost non existent and the majors need new supply, this will lead to a surge in M and A. It is likely that Newmont will want all of Hav and will have to pay fair value. The sale will enable GGP to take advantage of the cash injection and use it to go alone if one of our many other sites hits big. Just imagine if EG ends up as Hav 2 and GGP takes it to production with no debt. Gives me a nice warm feeling. ATB Speedy

Hi all. Some good info in there but mind numbingly boring. Had to force myself to listen to the monotone. Need someone to light a fire under SD and the interviewer. We are about to enter the most exciting period for our Co and that needs a fanfare.

Every interview i listen to (not just GGP) is talking about the coming gold bull. Once the general investing world get the idea that gold is good, it will send shock waves through establishment and they will know the game is up. ATB Speedy

Hi Mattyboy. Lets put this "low ball offer" to bed for good. GGP is in an excellent position with finance in place and production starting soon at a very good margin. Offers will have to take into consideration that it will not be a fire sale and will have to offer a massive premium. We will not be sold at a low valuation, if at all. SD has on many occasions stated that Hav is a great platform for further expansion and, i for one, will not accept an offer that does not reflect true value. ATB Speedy

Hi All. Here is my view on the state of play. Gold is entering a massive bull run that will go down in history as one of the greatest wealth transfers ever. The big boys and the smart money folk know this and will do all they can to maximize that transfer. With great discoveries of gold becoming rarer, Cos like GGP are wanted and the rules are being bent to facilitate a low entry point for the smart money.

It is up to you to make your mind up as to which group you want to be in, the losers or the winners. The losers will be shook out and the winners will hold for gold (copper, silver, cobalt, lithium, nickle,Etc, Etc) ATB Speedy
