Hi Backinback. If you read my post i said "probably good advice at these levels". These depressed SP levels will probably rise in time, but who really knows. I also would never recommend that people jump from the pan into the fire. I am not a pi coming to terms i am a pi. with many irons in the fire and my loss at SXX is just another punt gone wrong, i suppose you have never made a bad call. Hi FFCmember. Big business have their profits and can run at a loss for a while to destroy small business. This happened to me back in the 80s, we started a free music magazine selling ad space our competition dropped their column price by 80% and sent us bust, remember Freddie Laker and how BA sent him bust. Its not illegal unless a conspiracy can be proven. Big boys always win at the small mans expense. This mess is just another day for JPM and no screaming by you or anybody else will matter. Class actions and high court action costs bundles and takes a lot of time to organize, JPM run rings around the FCA. So what do you want to do and how do you want to go about it? ATB Speedy

Using JPM as financial adviser was not a mistake and i can not put it down to naivety, it was a long draw out plan to allow Anglo to make what seems a reasonable low ball offer that cannot be refused. Sounds a bit mafioso i know. However, there are $billions at stake and the big boys always win. I looks legal, but this deal was done behind closed doors and is totally bent. IMHO.
