Silver Brits purchased and stored inside the UK attract VAT. It is possible to purchase and store silver Brits offshore to avoid VAT and carry no CGT. Hi All. there has been a fair amount of discussion on here recently about silver. She is a very volatile animal and loves to whip your hard earned from you. If you are brave (or knowledgeable) enough to ride the storm the results can be mind blowing. Buy and hold do not try to trade. The price of silver is controlled and manipulated resulting in a very confusing market. 5 to 10 year time span to hold is the best bet. Not advice just my opinion. ATB Speedy

Hi All. Please, please, stop looking at paper profits and treating it as real profit, it is not a profit until banked. In my view the GDXJ spike is already priced in, the diamond drill at Scally may mean no gold found so far so must drill deeper, the speculation on our unproven licenses is just that. Hav has been greatly unrisked and is probably worth more than todays SP. I want this to succeed as much as anyone but we are in the riskiest game on the planet and would hate to see people re live the SXX fiasco.
