The longs on COMEX have increased at double the rate of the shorts. The banks are desperate for a pullback and there is a lot of false news around. My view is the bull continues at an increased rate. ATB Speedy

Hi Djm The COMEX has an Achilles heel, traders standing for delivery. Take from COMEX sell and get the 12 pc from the Chinese.

Hi all. News out that the withdrawals from COMEX and SLV were 32 mill and 11 mill ozs. Just when more and more folk are rushing to invest in silver ETFs custodians are supplying the market with silver from those ETFs. Make up your own minds what that means. ATB Speedy

Hi96dc2. If someone knew that a crash was coming tonight it would only be the ones causing the crash and they would not broadcast it. They would want to maximise profits, so the news would only surface during or after the event.

In the scheme of things the silver market is very small and if a bullionbank/hedge fund was caught short the losses could be contained.

I maybe wrong and just one outrageous short position could cause a domino effect, but I doubt it.

Any pull backs in the physical market/miners would be very short lived as wealth managers pile into the sector. ATB Speedy

Hi Bunyan. Ask anyone if they own a physical gold and hardly any one will say yes, apart from the odd bit of jewellery. This is why the big rise is still to come when folks start to look at gold and realise what it is all about. ATB Speedy

Hi All. The only pullback would be a sell off to cover margin calls in a stock market crash and that would be short and sharp. That is the only negative I can see. ATB Speedy

Hi Elcobbledore. That chart is a thing of beauty and shows the timing of the end of the price suppression and fiat crashing. It also reveals the scale of the loss of purchasing power of that fiat compared to gold

We will obviously see pullbacks in the surge upwards but they will be short lived. I see no events on the horizon that would lead to an end to this bull. ATB Speedy

Hi Ezaselangore. When debating the effects of a gold price rerate it is best to look at it as a dollar devaluation. The USA cannot unilaterally declare a POG @ say 20k/oz but it can declare it will take 20k dollars to buy an oz. If a declaration along those lines is announced the effects on the purchasing power of the dollar will be devastating for all holders of those dollars and in turn all fiat.

Talk of a rerate covering USA debt would need gold at 100k/oz. Not impossible with a hyperinflation event. Just look what happened to Germany a century ago.

I see the POG at 10k/oz as soon as early 2027.

The world will carry on spinning but a new world order is coming.

Folks talking Armageddon is a bit far fetched it will just be different. ATB Speedy
