Hi Monty. I would not normally respond to posters trying to put their point across but your last post needs correcting. Ever since the $ came off the gold standard it has lost 95% of its purchasing power compared to gold. The footsie has not managed to keep up in % terms nor has the s and p 500 when priced in fiat. The only asset class to do better than gold is owner occupied residential housing in the UK. Gold would have done better if the banks had not controlled the POG to the downside and the cost of housing to the up side. Debate is good but spouting false info is not. ATB Speedy

Hi Monty. The POG only goes down with rising yields because of false info. Real rates of inflation are well above reported levels. Only when interest rates out do inflation will the POG be negative. The stimulus packages around the globe are being financed with newly created currency. This is not old currency being redistributed, but i think you know that anyway. ATB Speedy

Hi All. The SP is so obviously being held at 22p. It will not be long until we find out why and who is responsible. The action in our SP is very similar to the type of action in the PMs market and its as plain as the nose on your face that some entities want both. When the manipulation ceases the PMs and all related stocks will see true value achieved. We are in the favorable position of also owning shed loads of CU and the world is going to need all it can get. Hi Better up. I am not sure what your argument is. In my view multi $trillions of bonds are making a loss yoy when looking at real rates, so buyers demand a higher return (interest) on their money, so the interest on bonds increase to create demand. Govs and corps around the world are so far in the debt hole that central banks will have to drive down the interest rates by buying bonds with currency that is unearned. Therefore more currency in circulation devaluing currency already in circulation. This is a catalyst for a higher POG and a higher GGP SP. I fail to see why you cannot see this clear fact. ATB Speedy
