Hi All. I have contacted The Perth Mint and inquired on the possibility of them minting a commemorative coin from the first gold pour at Hav/Telfer. I have asked about procedure, design, costs etc. I will keep you all informed of any response. ATB Speedy

Hi Tig. My preference would be a 1 oz coin minted at The Perth Mint. My thinking on design is a profile of G.H. with a border stating " Minted from first gold pour at Havieron" on the head side and Martu art on the tail. Would make a fantastic collector coin. ATB Speedy

Hi Sanibel. It is not for me to say what Bullion dealer is best. I use The Pure Gold Co, my last purchase ( was quite a large purchase) was with a premium of 3.5% and with a buy back promise of well above spot. I suggest you look around and find a Co to suit your level of purchase. I personally would avoid Cos with a high premium, Royal Mint for example. Good hunting. ATB Speedy

Hi Dodge. There have been some pretty awful posters here the last few weeks. I have been guilty of responding to them in defense of our great Co. I have also responded to requests for info into purchasing physical gold. This is a great forum with lots of knowledge if i can add to that knowledge then i will. ATB Speedy

Hi Mickey. If gold hits $1700 it will not stay down there for very long. When you get the likes of The Royal Mint (i do not like them) telling folks that selling your gold to them is a good idea, you know a bottom is near. ATB Speedy

Hi Dodge. Buying physical gold for the past 50 years has been a good way for me to store wealth. I use my gold holding as a current acct and sell to buy assets and then sell assets to buy gold. I strongly recommend holding physical gold but not by selling GGP. The time will come when all here will sell or be forced to sell via TO, what will you do with your profits? Your post makes it sound as though i am telling folks to sell GGP to buy gold, how wrong you are. ATB

Hi LTinv. Just thought it would be a good idea to claim first pour gold at Hav for share holders. 50k 1 oz coins, someone mentioned the name "Havierons". Any ideas on design? I think a lean towards the Martu people would be good. ATB Speedy

Hi Sanibel. I have used Sharps Pixley for small in hand purchases. The location and the shop oozes wealth and some times the experience of shopping in such a place outweighs the small extra premium paid and who can resist the Ritz for afternoon tea. For large stored purchases i use The Pure Gold Co, their premiums are tight and negotiable and their buy back promise is second to none. Chards also offer a fair price buy i personally have non used them so prefer not to comment. ATB Speedy
