Is there any evidence of progress? Yes mutliple meetings. Is it happening just as AB stated it would? No

IMO legal proceeding never happen as you would like. It can be liken to a battlefield or a chess match.

AB's postings, video blogs and perhaps even the RNS are part of that process. The opposite side reads, listens, watches to what AB is doing, what he is saying, how he is saying it. The message "I am not going anywhere until this is done' sends a message to those within the DRC. To me that's where the focus of the messaging should be not.

No public company keeps its shareholders informed about it legal tactics or strategies. This include putting out misleading or potentially misleading information. It is so prevalent among software companies there is even a name for those types of public announcements 'vaporware' software that does not really exist. Products are announced with a launch date to scare off competition

Companies post job openings but dont really have any job openings but they just want to gather information

Yes I would like things to happen faster but my parents taught me the world does not revolve around me or my wants.

If you dont own RRR shares then I suspect a broken promise will encourage you to buy RRR shares.

I am excited/positive because I think it will happen. I dont know where AB current is located. I dont care if AB left the country. Is the Mon/Tue meeting still happening? was it postponed? Is AB's presence even required at the meeting?

I made my bet 3 years ago and increased it since then. IMO it will it happen. RRR already made significant with a court victory and IMO RRR will be successful in arbitration

Stop taking AB's words apart and posting the world will end if AB travels somewhere else.

Even if AB traveled outside of DRC (for business or personal) the meeting for Mon/Tue will either happen or not. Perhaps postponed. Eventually details will come out. Too many here are like the noisy nieghborhood wanting to know what happens when couple next door goes in the bedroom

Remember the DRC is not 100% safe. IMO it makes sense not have a phone location tracker turned on

I found it interesting that AB posted a short video on the various minerals DRC has.

AB has also mentioned new properties in the DRC AFTER the DRC arbitration cash is resolved. I would imagine some of his time is also spent lining those assets up but I wonder what type of minerals they might be.

Hopefully the meeting Mon/Tue will be fruitful and the DRC arbitration process resolved with a final conclusion'

Banbury the financial statements of the UK and USA company are totally different. If you want to believe they are the same company then all I can say is you are wrong, Different companies can have the same directors and even the same address but they are still are legally different entities

extreme example The USA has 50 different states and someone could form a legal corporation in each of those 50 states each with the same name, same directors and same address but each of those 50 companies would be different

Maidit re 'weekend tweet' since AB stated he is waiting for invitation to a meeting mon/tue I dont think AB will tweet anything meaningful over the weekend on DRC

IMO AB is being very careful about his public comments. No doubt people within the DRC also read those comments as well as his video's

Perhaps there should be new board dedicated to facilitate comments about Helpful

I, too, have posted comments that as an insider Helpful should not be regular poster. Helpful still posts and there is nothing more I (or anyone else) can do about it

I have a ministerial meeting scheduled for Mon/Tues. Awaiting the formal invitation.

Another key implementation meeting shortly (after some hours waiting in ante room last night, we were told 'this security meeting could go on till 3, so best we meet late morning tomorrow' - meaning today after 11).

There's a war on, and our interlocutors are the very people dealing with commissariat and planning at the Govt level.....so we get the available time, but always at risk of reschedule.

Small in the scheme of things but from our management pov a great nuisance...

As I reading the latest batch of posts it struck me that the bashers and naysayers strategy to collect the cash via arbitration as well as the court verdict is as follows:

-The people in the DRC must pay the money by (insert date) or RRR/AB will leave and never return.

Their desire to eliminate the unknown or uncertainty is absolutely mind boggling.

Panda1- What is your basis for stating "all spare state funds are being used for military spending".

I understand if you have doubts or concerns. DRC has had armed conflict for years. The rebels have public announced that they seek no more action. That may or may be true. All governments have priorities. RRR is on their to do list. Its probably not even in the top 10 but RRR is still on the list.

If you dont want to wait then sell your shares and move on.

IMO AB is close. I might be totally wrong and end up looking like a fool for my comment. I have done business (mineral exploration projects) in a number of different 3rd countries and does take time to establish credibility that you will be there long term, Those countries do not pass out great projects to companies who just show up, you have to pay your dues.

Thus AB's comments resonate with truth to me . AB is also behaving as if he believes it. I have experienced that type of bureaucracy before. It is real and time consuming

In Canada as well as the US business can be done by zoom, documents signed electronically but a lot of the world does not operate that way

Until AB gets something in writing there will be no RNS. I will wait. I accept the risk.

As AB they are coming into the dock but exact timing is uncertain.

I think they are close to getting the DRC cash and then other DRC projects will follow. Personally I think big things are in store IMO RRR has potential to go 10x in 3-6 months

Zumore-the short answer is no. VUP did not have the legal authority to sell the asset. That fact has already been recognized by the DRC court.

What shape would RRR be in if VUP had not taken this asset away from RRR?

Banbyury no one, except AB, knows if it was "hyperbole" or if AB was merely repeating what was told to him.

Until something is done it is not done. After years of dealing with this DRC issue knows that all too well and has often made comments on that as well.

The only 'fix' is to have AB's comments always include a disclaimer. Readers also have a responsibility to interpret information. All of this is known to the market which is why the market did not react to the updates.

I see these steps 1-Award finalized and announced 2-pymt is made & received in DRC 3-Funds arrive in UK

My interpretation is AB & draftsmen are looking at language to ensure that item 2 flows properly. IMO that is the correct approach

IMO AB knows that DRC needs to get done and its importance. Having a chorus of people telling him over & over what he has already acknowledged would be irritating, rude, insulting etc
