Child labor is terrible in every country that it exists. Unfortunately it is widespread. It exists not in Africa but also in Asia particularly in China. No doubt several reader are wearing shoes made with child labor. Expressing outrage at a photo is easy and requires virtually no effort how about returning those shoes and boycotting any company which uses child labor to source any of the materials used in its products?

To me this process has always had opposition (as in any dispute) in the DRC the legal process is also intertwined with politics and connections and therefore it is not to RRR's advantage to disclose details of their process/response as this would be provide tremendous advantage to the opposition

It appears that they have been close for weeks with AB commenting that another announcement could be forthcoming soon. We have heard that before but perhaps this time will be different. I hope so

No I dont think so. My post was in response to some one comment about a default. No default has not been announced, I dont believe a RNS would be required by RRR to explain why another company (in this case POW) has not placed them in default.

As to the ongoing armed conflict (war) in the DRC this is public knowledge

I certainly would like to see more disclosure from RRR (where is April update) a RNS about war in the DRC would not be high on my list of items I would like to see disclosure on

Someone posted comments about POW and force majeure, which got me thinking that RRR has an argument that due to the DRC war that it has caused delays in granting of the arbitration award resulting in a delay of getting cash

This could be why no default was claimed, POW may be willing to see it how this all plays out

What is the basis for your statement? Do you have actual knowledge? As an outsider the most I could say is that RRR is late on a payment, which is quite different from a breach.

IMO RRR/AB say this because a-they dont understand it b-the 'process' keeps changing. Brain surgery is complex but the doctors & hospital could still provide an update to the family on timing & progress. There are numerous examples of complex situations where explanations and updates can be provided.

The difference is the doctors know what they are doing and have done it before so they understand the variables.

Here RRR/AB dont know, have never done it before, my guess is this type of arbitration is not at all common and the DRC running the arbitration might have limited experience in it. This might be the only arbitration case that the current DRC administration has even done.

The whole thing could be ruse just to consume time. If so the choices faced by RRR are rather bleak and thus they pin their hopes that the other side who also will get money is also wanting to resolve this.

AB called for cash, Helpful sold shares, will buy shares at discount plus get warrants.

IMO not a big placement but enough for another trip to the DRC

So June is here. April and May have passed. In March RRR promised an update in April
