are small deals meant to keep the lights on and keep funding the the bigger deals.

RRR is all over the world and at least minimal infrastructure (legal , acct and corp support) which costs money (ie people do not work for free)

Kenya needs significant money spent to go the next level (pre production/production) which is why RRR needs a partner but those costs are still ongoing ((due to Kenya license requirements)

AB has given a lot of positive feedback on Congo but it is not done. That said I wish RRR would put a news release on Congo status

Until the $ arrives in RRR's account it is uncertain RRR has publicly stated that they are also hoping to get a replacement property, it is uncertain that this will be achieved

Most attorney's I know are almost invariably serious particularly during working hours. My initial thought was the picture was being sent as a prelude to a victory and way to acknowledge their efforts. but the opposite is also possible -ie a way to deflect blame

I do not believe AB has much credibility given his long history of unfilled promises so IMO only news that the $ has arrived will possibly move the market. I say possibly because posters here have speculated that AB will simply waste the money anyway. That type of comment is an indication of how thick the negative sentiment is concerning AB

Like you I fear failure but hope for the best as I already own RRR shares

mostly about Australia -but I think the potentially most market moving news will be Congo-AB is still in Congo,, AB thinks he is getting $ and a property. The property side is probably what is taking the longest AB will want it all properly done and it will be interesting to see what property it is. Listen at the very end where AB snaps back at the interviewer when AB was thanked for his view and he snapped back 'also the view of the court'

that news is from 2012 but still potentially relevant as a play on iron ore price

this is the problem with any type of initial drilling on a new prospect very very rarely do they hit exciting assays. These results are the typical "interesting' or 'warrants further exploration'

although your title is accurate the body of your text appears to imply that it was sent in AB's role as CEO-clearly it was not. I dont want to debate 3 year tweets other than to note that AB was commenting on another tweet from an author who actually made the comment you found offensive.

Are you suggesting personal tweets (irregardless of their age) should play a role in investing? I know ethical investing has it its place but most ethical investing models would exclude any mining investments. If it is applied to RRR then it should also take into account minority hiring, advancement, role is less developed countries etc The ethical investing models I have seen did not take into account personal tweets but perhaps they should. NB I did not make a comprehensive review of ethical models so my knowledge is limited.

watch and learn what happens when deals actually happen (ie insiders line their pockets with shares)

JMO but this looks/smells like an insider deal. It is relatively small and warrant exercise is probably the legal minimum, which is unlike RRR's past deals

look for insider filings after this. I dont like this BUT its probably further evidence that the something is positive is happening. This is probably why AB did yestersday video so that if challenged he can point to that and say 'I told everyone it is happening'
