The whole point of arbitration is get a resolution including if necessary without the parties agreement. Otherwise just use the court system, then international courts, use international public opinion as well as the local criminal courts.

The mere fact that AB continues to go to Congo provides hope to the other side that he will take less once he is actually in country. If RRR also won the appeal then they are legally owed $4.5 go to the courts and sieze property Yes this takes time but the sooner it is started then the sooner it ends

I spend time researching investments both pro and con (this is work for me) For the record although I do a great job in this area, losses do occur, certainly a loss is possible here and I am certainly down for the moment. The reasons I invested are still valid. Also for the record I have posted negative comments. However for me, once I sold a position I move on and would not spend time posting..

Personally I do not believe any posts, negative or positive, have a influence on share price. if anyone reads these posts either positive or negative as a basis for an investment decision then IMO that is incredible poor investment making process. So on that point I agree with you that "it will not make the slightest bit of difference"

It appears that you over-react to my posts because you are enable to deal with current reality of RRR and are instead posting due to your prior losses in RRR.

Back in Dec when the last financing was announced I noted that this, in part, was bet that Congo $ would come in Jan. This did not happen and share price has suffered and will continue to suffer until Congo happens or other significant news counters that financing

Congo -unfortunately unless RRR can come with means to pressure the other side (legal or criminal actions) this becomes a waiting game. They already got $5 million (ill gotten gains) so they are in better situation to wait. IMO the government of Congo has to put pressure to enforce the arbitration process otherwise it is simply meaningless and runs counter to official position that they are trying to reduce corruption. When I bought earlier last year I gave it an estimate of 3 years. Early success gave me hope that it would faster. Unfortunately AB thought $ would come in and started to make funding obligations on other projects burning even more cash. In hindsight that was a mistake but hindsight is always 20/20 and never makes a mistake

Capt _Kurk where did you get your information that VUP lost its appeal? I dont see it in the RRR disclosures

IMO any delays are the result of clearing the offering with the regulatory bodies (NASDAQ), who the new share holders are and where their investment money came from. The US has strict anti money laundering laws., to such a degree in some cases they ask for foreign tax returns to ensure that the source of funds has been declared and the appropriate income taxes have been paid.

I am not saying that it is what happening here just that smaller offerings such as ELEP which has business outside the USA will be reviewed

interim payment? I dont think so. The 3rd party has the funds and they are looking for a resolution before any payment is made. VUP, by taking all of the initial payment believes RRR was entitled to zero. RRR won in court but VUP has no money left.

Helpful-so AB tweeted he is stuck in Turkish airport. What is typical flight schedules between London and the Congo?
if direct-is it daily or is a stop over in Turkey somewhat typical

presumably AB is done in the Congo for now and it would make sense to release the news (if any) once he is back in London

IMO at this point I think the joint brokers will wait until there is a sucessfull outcome in Congo and perhaps wait until RRR actually files a file claim.

In addition to Congo, ELEP and ALR there is also the ongoing drilling in Australia which resumed on Jan 3 so we have plenty of potentially significant news in the pipeline
