Roundtable Discussion; The Future of Mineral Sands. Watch the video here.
It looks like we are getting close to break even. Hopefully we will hit that point over the next 6 months. Next year should then see us making money. All looks well positioned for share price continuing to rise.
No, there would had been an RNS if he had reduced below the threshold.
The first two paragraphs contradict each other. My interpretation is they are clutching at straws with the article and first paragraph is the headline grabber. They have likely run through the possibility of a wind down for cost purposes for the likely upcoming court case for an SOA2. This is pretty much what the second paragraph indicates.
Sub-prime lender Amigo has hired crisis experts to assist with winding down its business.
The London-listed firm is working with PJT Partners on contingency plans if it is unable to restart lending to customers, according to City sources.
There must be a reason for the disparity between buying and selling price today.
G_G_G if as you said that you have 3.5million shares or so in this then why are you complaining or sticking around if this BOD are being deceitful and unscrupulous. Your here to make money but unfortunately it might take longer now than you anticipated. That's life unfortunately and as a shareholder you should be supportive of the company growing with little debt and raising funds to invest. I bought more this morning because I believe this has added stability in terms of a longer strategy of growth and development.
Point 1, this will not affect the special divi as exdivi date is less than a week away and this increase in share numbers won't finalise until month end atleast.
Point 2, the actual asset value per share will increase with this acquisition.
Point 3, the turnover per share will likely increase with this acquisition
Point 4, more corporate shareholders will naturally stabilise the company and help increase share price over time.
Point 5, this is starting to take it from a very smaller player into a longterm mid size oil company.
Point 6, I believe once this is all tied up this will rerate past 20p before year end anyway.
Point 6, all we have lost is a couple of weeks of gains so what is there really to complain about.
Point 7, a lot of mid term holders are well in profit and only very long term and very short term holders may be down on their investments.
Share lot, Sirius Minerals did not have any income so how is it comparible in any shape or form.
Flabby, The additional shares will not receive any of the divi. They won't be issued before exdivi date. The turnover for the company will double for an additional half of existing shares issued. How is that not a great move
Nomadinvestor, how is it a dilution if the additional assets more than make up for it. Each share is unlikely to be worthless when this all pans out. Dilution would be correct if they raised money and issued shares but had a big bill to pay that we where not aware of.
Hopefully this will settle in the 13s today and then back to it. Remember dividend incoming so in reality your better buying now at under 13p than buying at the 11p placing price. 2.5p a share dividend makes up the shortfall.
There will be around 400-500million shares added from this raise in my opinion. I think this was all about getting the institutions on board at this point which will propel the business longterm.
Cmcc it closed at 745am on primarybid. You have only 45 mins to try.
Eringael, so dividend will be around 2.5p a share I guess. So for some it will be a refund on the expected short term share price drop. Over all this acquisition will add substantial value but hopefully not for a ridiculous dilution for existing shareholders
Dootstop123, Bybrook will have been given a heads up and no doubt will top up to retain their present holding. Expect another RNS perhaps before 8am to help settle share price. Hopefully the placing was at 12p+ and not to damaging to existing shareholders.
The primarybid offer closes in a few mins so they have not really engaged Private investors. If they wanted Pi money they would have opened it up after trading yesterday and not this morning
Why did they not just use the money they planned to use for a dividend? Surely the expected dividend money would cover a good chunk of the £40million they are looking to raise??
So who bought 3million shares at close??
Plenty of buying today. It will interesting to see what happens when divi is announced. This is going to be a great 6-12 months further rises on share price. I expect 25p+ within next 3-6 months. News flow is fantastic.
A lot are selling to take a well earned profit. I bought this share twice before and ended up selling at a loss. I bought again fairly recently and with these recent rises I have now covered off previous losses and in a healthy profit after buying back at around the 8p mark. There will be no early retirement for me unless it hits £1 lol but steady rises to 20p+ and a nice divi will do very nicely indeed. Any idea on value of divi per share?
How can he possibly remain as CEO after his 11 months in charge? Why has he not gone with the other board members? Do we think his days are numbered and will take an additional golden handshake to remove him.
