It will bobble around the current levels for at least 5 more weeks until the ITP is finalised, a number of things will likely happen or be announced following that completion which I believe will allow it to rise.

That’s what almost everyone said last year.

Not long = could be up to 6 weeks, a lot of damage can be done until then.

Still could be around 6 weeks away, ideally we want that finalised as soon as possible.

Why would he do that when he has a fat pay check and bonuses coming in whether he does a good job or not?

Note that I did state ‘could be nonsense’ in my original post.

This has been going for a few weeks, I made a previous thread on it but as I said in that, could be something but could be nonsense as it’s only a rumour and nothing substantial has came of it to warrant paying too much attention to it.

Debt is not just noise, far from it especially at the levels here.

That might not happen until end of June, that’s a long time to wait given recent performance and could be a hell of a drop before ITP is finalised.

It was one of the areas of the business that was least affect the pandemic so I’m not sure getting rid of it would be the best idea, I’m just passing on the rumour.

Yeah, rumours in RR can grow arms and legs pretty quickly, I won’t read too much into it unless it becomes a bit more than just a rumour, it might just fizzle out.

Strong rumour from within RR (I work there) that BAE systems are potentially buying the RR Nuclear defence business, (not the SMR). This could be a follow on from the rumour that spiked us not long ago.

It’s just a rumour, could be true, could be nonsense but it is rife this morning.

Probably result in a 5% drop tomorrow but we can always live in hope for something a bit more positive.
