Not sure that BMN should feel any effect (side-effect) from Glencore numbers St0wski. Most of the movement in our own SP appears to be led by whatever the MMs and shorters want at the moment, and not so much by Basic Resources market forces and trends.

I totally agree RichKen. Furthermore, you'd surely think that anyone with any doubts about BMN having sufficient cash to fulfil their expansion plans, may now be having to have a rethink. I'd certainly be having second thoughts about keeping any Short position open for much longer.

Not sure why you would expect any mention of a dividend Vauch? This matter has already been cleared up and we should not expect any further mention of it from BMN until next year when they discuss the FY results.

Faramog, I've a similar plan to you and was not being critical of anyone that chooses to sell some at whatever level...it's just that my initial target for selling some was/is higher than we have reached so far. I'd thought about lowering my 1st target SP but still feel that I'd be best sticking with my original plan...especially in light of the vastly more exciting situation developing with VRFB. I doubt that Pdub really believes that many LTH will become regular traders so much as once every so often as they hit SP targets. If I had set my first target at 40p and sold a % of my holding as planned and then bought back at mid 20p, I wouldn't consider myself a trader anyhow.

Anyway, exciting times ahead so good luck to all, regardless of their plans.

I’m with Pdub on that one. I agree with the thought of locking in profits etc and hate to think about the missed opportunity of not having locked in profits by selling some, but I’d be too worried about getting it wrong in terms of timing. I’ll be holding for the long run and will simply add as and when I have extra funds

They’ve probably already opened their small short positions today and are now trying to lower the SP to buy back and close their positions for a quick 10%. Low life pond scum.

Well said Pdub. Patience has always been key and those with suitable amounts of it will be well rewarded. All good things come to he who waits. (Or she)

They may be in to their maximum limit and hopefully feel that not closing at 21p was a mistake. Hence great effort to keep in this range in the hope that the SP may slip lower one more time. The lack of concerted effort through regular sells is what makes me believe they are at/near their limit, otherwise we’d be seeing more timed sells first thing. WTFDIK

Just wondering if you managed to pick up any useful information last night that is worth sharing Colt45. Just out of curiosity, has your switched investment proven to be a good decision yet.....just wondering, as I like many, feel that BMN is due a rerate rise very soon.
