It's not really double the divi drop today. Look at the wider market. Take the divi off and it's only down about the same % as others like AV and LGEN. Fwiw I added another 5k today too.

I think the rns confirming a new institutional investor has bought 130 million odd shares, or 5% of the company, recently will help keep this more buoyant tomorrow than it would have been. They clearly see value here. But wtfdik exdiv share prices are notoriously fickle and often do weird stuff.

MNG already IS the core of my portfolio and has been for some time now for the very reasons you've given. I'd be adding today if I didn't already have so many!

So why the hell is this going down in the days before exdiv? Heading for £2 exdiv at this rate. Poor performance.

I take no pleasure in seeing anyone lose money but perhaps some of you need to have a good long think about the abuse you piled on anyone who was sceptical of the ludicrous claims by PG and many here that MOU-1 was actually a success. In all my investing I've learned to NEVER ignore or ridicule any line voices raising red flags. They are often proved right.

Well that placing at 5p was entirely predicted by some of us who've been called all sorts of names for selling out after the previous news on MOU-1.

Did people seriously think that RNS was worth 60 to 80% on share price today? Someone else said 15 to 20p. The market hasn't told me I'm wrong yet.....

Why is it odd? It's human nature. Those that hold do so because they believe the price is cheap. Those that sold did so because they believe the price is expensive. It's hard for either side to be completely objective because of the inherent bias stemming from their investment decision. Very few posters will actually admit any negative views they have on a share while they hold - who wants to talk their investment down? Anyway, as I say, good luck guys. Bye.

I find it bizarre that people who are still fully invested here are not interested in the think views of those who sold out on the RNS and think they have no valid reason to post here. Sticking your head in the sand doesn't make bad news disappear......

Paul would be a fool if he was hiding good results behind an RNS *designed for industry* as opposed for us poor PI's. If a company has good news they will shout it from the rooftops you clowns. Agree Jonny/Nige/clueless Tim etc. The video silence from the very very very confident Paul about this well is deafening. Total disregard for shareholders not to do a followup video explaining the weasel worded RNS. Anyone who thinks this was a decent result needs their head examining. I've been in from 5/6p. Sold 70% between 16 and 18p and was surprised to get out post drill results with a small profit on the remaining 30%. Small mistake was a top up at 15p prior to drill results.

Good posts Scott but it's not true that they have no debt I believe. They swapped their loan in Canadian dollars to one in US dollars last year I think. They can extend this to 50 million I think, and may well be doing so if the 'wall of cash' keeps receding. I've always thought cashflow would be their biggest issue if they couldn't get the gas online in the timescales Paul originally suggested.
