So ODX will get to manufacture at least 25% of any government order. That means Abingdon will absolutely get the lions share... unlikely to be the remaining 75% but it will be much more that ODX as their capacity is much greater. Abingdon looks like a better buy to me...

Yes they will be getting a slice of ANY of the tests they manufacture. What is clear is that they will absolutely be used by the government to manufacture LFT tests. SP is an absolute steal at the moment...

Abingdon IPO’d in November for a reason. They are still under the radar and their SP has hardly moved since the floatation. Their market cap is under ODX and they are the UK’s largest manufacturer of LFT’s. The share price is current a steal imo - they are the lead manufacturer on the LFT consortium and have already won a £75m contract with the Dept for Health. Even if Avacta isn’t the preferred test they will still be at full manufacturing capacity and are now expanding. I’m definitely taking a position in Abingdon on Monday...

Great question. The answer is quite clearly because having a new variant which is more deadly will help promote greater fear and hysteria amongst our nation of chronic television watchers. More fear means more acceptance of vaccines. It really is clever stuff.

Answer is obviously person B. They may have the virus and be highly contagious it’s just the vaccine (which isn’t really a vaccine by the way) is reducing their symptoms making them complacent...

Vaccine strategy is an absolute shambles - I spoke to my boss today... she took her elderly parents to get their Pfizer vaccines in Portsmouth yesterday. They had late afternoon slots and the nurses told her they were scheduled to deliver over 800 vaccines that day but only a quarter of people turned up. In the afternoon they start offering out the surplus to any people that are handholding the vulnerable. My boss got vaccinated along with her daughter... it’s essentially becoming a walk vaccination centre with no regulation. The risks are pretty obvious!

Given the vaccine has only just been rolled out I have no idea how they know this. It’s essentially “Rent Your Health” you pay your 12 month Rent and in return you don’t get ill and potentially die - a fantastic business model. We are currently validating the initial batch off the production line which is a final piece of the jigsaw. My guess this has already been done but we are constrained by the NDA with the UK Government. They are still getting their **** together - I suspect we will see positive news on Friday at the earliest but more likely next week when the schools reopen.
