Sleepless nights for you mate, how's your short doing
Everyone here knows that NMC is massively oversold and undervalued right now, almost regardless of the Freeh report outcome. The question is not whether it will bounce, but when!
Or perhaps it's the case that your 50+ posts on one day are a sign of desperation rather than commitment? What price did you open your short at? Are you at a loss already? Today will be very painful for you my friend. Suicidal lemming indeed!
CMF whilst I admire your commitment and lack of shame in ruthlessly rederamping this stock, I fear you might have missed your best opportunity to close your short back in the sub 900s. Get out now while you can..
I believe this has bottomed out for today. Onwards and upwards.
The trouble in buying/holding at this price is that the slightest scare will almost invariably cause a massive slide in the SP, given how twitchy nervous everyone is at the moment, but the same can't be said about slightly good news (as demonstrated with today's RNS).
The risk/reward ratio is heavily lopsided and to jump in now would entail likely worse odds than flipping a coin.
I'm not invested here and my sincere apologies to those who have lost out. I know there are a lot of good guys on this board.
My question is, why did the board say they would buy back £200m of shares, and then allow this to plummet in the way it has?
They bought a minuscule amount the day after the aforementioned announcement and we've heard nothing since. People were perhaps rightly expecting them to provide support in the 1200s?
Where did they go?
And they're all buying in at a premium as well, 56-57p.
Several £50k+ buys coming through in the last 2 hours. The big players definitely know a bargain when they see one
What a bargain at this SP, massively oversold
Its stop losses causing people to trip up. And panicked investors. The share is undervalued right now and people have likely realised it over the weekend. I'm predicting a bounce of maybe 5-6% in the next 1-2 days.
The SP fall was in response to PIs getting spooked by news article concerned about AVST's handling of data.
These articles last no longer than a day or two on the internet.
Then all that will be remembered of this unfortunate incident is AVST's commendably robust response.
A SP of 450 by trading end today is not unreasonable.
This dropped from 550. It has a long way to go up, and invariably the fastest ascent will occur in the coming hours and days.
Absolutely unbelievable and absurd that the SP reached this low given the company fundamentals.
Knee jerk sellers pushed it this low and will regret this dearly, this will bounce back in no time
Massively oversold
What a hilarious state of affairs on this board, CMF clearly getting on everyones nerves!!
