Agree Austin, the difference between opinion here is many believe once the Atomic deal is done there will be nothing to hold the price back...... totally agree Shaa, your last paragraph is bang on and confirms exactly my point... don’t think many here want to consider what would happen in that case, that’s why I believe Nigeria is at least as important as the Atomic licence...... nice to see a little balance here

By all means carry on observing, that way you may learn to look at the bigger picture rather than looking at things in a narrow manner..... all I have done is point out the importance of OPL 226 in terms of us reaching Max share price potential, for most long term share holders we shouldn’t loose sight of that, anyone who takes that as an attack on Copl is mistaken

Not being personal at all, looks like some here don’t know the difference between our licence at opl226 and the marginal bidding rounds..... shows a lack of knowledge on his part hence why I threw in the rainbow chaser bit, was more an observation than a insult

Unfortunately the market consistently does, I’m talking short / medium term not long term, if Nigeria fails then it will be long term before the market allows us to reach true value...... don’t forget Copl wouldn’t exist if it wasn’t for OPL226..... Copl is OPL226....up to now it’s all we have been....yes we have a potentially great asset but like I said before the markets been promised OPL226 will come good and without that happening we’ll be played with as it would be seen as a failure and anyone thinking that won’t be the case could well be in for a big shock and the true value of the atomic asset could well take a long time to be reached, by which time many here will be long gone..... I base this opinion on experience with undervalued companies with great assets, of which there are many.. Nigeria is and should remain the main focus rather than becoming the elephant in the room and talk of maybe not needing Nigeria is crazy

So true value will be reached without OPl226 coming good?
As most are aware I’m not a deramper but at the same time I’m fully aware of how important getting Nigeria sorted and over the line is.... I have no doubt the share price will spike on the Atomic news but without sorting Nigeria out then the price spike will turn out to be exactly that, a spike..... the markets have been promised Nigeria will be sorted so until that day comes true value won’t be reached......without that the mm’s have the perfect reason to play games with us......anyone who thinks Nigeria has suddenly become less important is living in a different planet..... sometimes wise to sit back and try and view things the way the mm’s look at the market

Personally don’t think we will see true value until essar/Nigeria is sorted, any delays on that front will have a negative impact on the share price regardless of what comes out of the atomic deal, should the above happen then I believe Copl will need additional funds ..... the market rarely operates on logic and reason.... if it did we would all be rich..... hold on to your pants is my advice

Why dilute further when you can finance debt and pay it off with immediate cash flow??
AM has many failings but you do realise he’ll be diluting himself if he does what your claiming...... lol

I agree cawcaw....But dilution has never been mentioned, AM said they would be looking at financing the debt

Nothing wrong, the market is expecting and waiting on news from Nigeria, until that happens mm’s will play with us

Will loiter and drop till Nigeria gets sorted, if Nigeria isn’t sorted before the atomic deal then we won’t see a sustained rise when that deal is finalised........everything hinges on Nigeria and without that we’ll be put through the ringer before we have a proper sustained share price rise.....imho

Markets playing it cool and will continue to do so until Nigeria is sorted
