What happens if the potential new west African asset takes ages to progress, dump that too?

Personally I want to be invested in a company that builds its portfolio rather than dumping things when something easier comes along...... anyone who thinks the market would turn a blind eye to Nigeria being dumped is kidding themselves.... I’m sure essar have tried every trick in the book to get Copl out the way this far..... why not retain and build both assets?

Yes, if there was a prize for hoodwinking and pulling the wool over shareholders eyes Arthur would certainly have been a consistent winner of that one over the years.....Never sold despite his shenanigans and always had confidence he would come good for us, just a case of getting things over the line now

That’s why I believe any hold up on that front will have a detrimental effect on the share price.... to enjoy the curve we need good news on both fronts anything else will slow the rise.... imho

Let’s not forget as good as the oil prospects are at opl226, something that rarely gets mentioned is the gas, correct me if I’m wrong but there’s been more gas discoveries than oil historically.....opl 226 has the potential to turn into a monster field

So the last few days of 2020 didn’t result in the massive share price rise many predicted here

Can only thrive Bob if external influences allow it, ie Chinese flu, oil price, Saudi /Russia play nice etc so things need to fall in place if we are to reach full potential
